Prices are very good, the bakery is the first stop where I look at fresh baked goods and determine if I will be able to consume what I purchase before leaving the country. Your own carry-out bags are needed to transport your items if you are unable to pick them up by yourself. The store hours are usually 7 am to 11 pm daily.

But Fruits on Coventry is the one I frequent the most, so I'm giving it my top prize. It's busy here, which means I know things are turning over quickly. Everything is super fresh and in addition to the usual suspects, I love the exotic fruits, special herbs, "trendy" things like edible flowers and micro herbs and purple carrots. The service is always efficient and friendly. While shopping around the other stalls may help me save a few dollars overall, this place has everything and knowing I get terrific quality and good service I generally don't bother and just make this my one stop shop for roughage.

There's self serve checkout which means you'll be in and out as soon as you can find your items and pay for them. Probably one of the cooler facts about this Woolies is that there is a DVD rental vending machine as you exit so for a few bucks you can rent a flick from the giant green vending machine!

So sizeable was the wheaty treat that it took my man and I a good few days and several homemade dips to finish it off. Hard work, but someone has to do it. Sadly, I think this Safeway comes off second best, as it just doesn't have that much to offer. Except cheeses! They have a really good section for cheese where I love to rustle through it to find the quick sale deals! The other decent part is its deli where it is probably a little bit better than the Coles across the road however as a whole they don't have as much good meats, bread or fruit and vegetables.
