From start to finish Jody and her team were wonderful to work with--they were highly knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive, and took the time to make sure everything was designed and completed to a high standard. This project is something we'd been wanting to do for years, and it came out better than we could have imagined! We had a lot of different goals for what's a fairly small front yard with quite a bit of shade: we wanted an attractive design that would reduce water use and maintenance needs, support pollinators throughout the full growing season, create a firebreak near the house, have a nice space for our kids to enjoy, and add some edible plants/berries/herbs if possible. Wild Heritage went above and beyond in delivering on all of these criteria, and it's a strong testament to their experience, passion, and deep knowledge of landscape design, sustainable planting, water management, and construction. Our new front yard has quickly become a favorite place for our whole family to spend time, and our kids love running around the path, sitting on the rocks, watching bumblebees and ladybugs, and admiring each new flower that blooms. Our 6-year-old son now asks to go outside with us every night to read on the patio and is beyond excited to pick strawberries, gooseberries, honeyberries, and cherries as the plants grow and mature. And thanks to the high-quality soil, customized drip irrigation system, and detailed instructions Wild Heritage provided, the plants are already growing like crazy just a few short weeks after being planted. These guys were great in every way except for getting ahold of Sam after the work is done. I haven't heard a word in text email or call from Sam since our last check cleared. Again, great work, but very strange that there's no support or follow up, so beware of "warranty" support. Thankfully we haven't needed it but it would make me hesitate to recommend these guys to other folks.

Sam was very prompt, personable and professional to meet with. But once the work was done, the…read morequality and workmanship was shoddy in a number of areas. He claimed he would send people back out week after week to fix issues (and collect MORE money) but never did. They were slated to do both my patio and build a pergola, but after the patio was done I had no interest in in letting them build the pergola. And good thing - the eventual replacement I found did fantastic work, at HALF the price of Sam's estimate!! Here are some of the issues; 1. I have a sprinkler head that feeds a drip system. I told him day 1 it was very important NOT to cover it. He said ok, and so crew moved the head over a couple feet... THEN COVERED IT ANYWAY!! Now if there's ever a problem with that head, I'll have to tear up the patio to get to it. His response? "It'll be fine." Seriously!! 2. It's a square space, but the paver stones were laid at a 5-10 degree angle?? Then the edges were cut perfectly straight at the ends, leaving an ugly unnatural finish in a very obvious place. 3. They rebuilt our bad step, but it was already cracked the day he finished. It's not even by the door to be stepped on, why is it broken already? 4. Polysand (the cement-like hardening sand they use to keep it together) was left splattered all over my house and screen doors and windows. I had to scrub the house clean, but the screens are shot. 5. The patio slopes in three or four different directions, but I'll allow the weird Broomfield soil and my original slab take some of the blame for that. After weeks of waiting for any contractor to get back to me in this overwhelmed market, I was thrilled to finally have someone to work with. But I would not recommend their services to a friend after this.
