Was glad to find this coffee shop while on a road trip. Enjoyed my coffee and a yummy blueberry muffin. The business is housed in a cute cottage and the interior is very inviting. I would have liked to sit by the fireplace and enjoy a book but the road was calling me.

Iced matcha with lavender foam

This place is amazing. As a Starbucks snob from Dallas, I was looking for good coffee on a work trip to Winfield and boy did I find it! They have unusual coffee drinks, iced matcha with lavender foam was my latest try. The coffee is hot and it smells amazing inside. You can order through a window on the porch or go inside, it's in a house tucked in a neighborhood. Big menu of options plus baked goods (the locals tell me the peanut butter sheet cake is to die for) and quiche, sandwiches. Not only did we stop here for mocha cold brews but we ordered box lunches for about 15 people. The sandwiches were fresh with veggies and the sides included fruit, cottage cheese and broccoli salad. Healthy score! I cannot say enough about the food, drinks, and ambience here. Service is a tad slow but super friendly and you can order ahead if you're in a rush. Again, from the big city and we all rued the fact that we didn't have anything quite as cozy and funky where we live. Five stars baby!!!!

A great find in a pretty run down little town. A comfortable collegiate atmosphere with wonderful French press coffee and other choices as well. The beans are ground fresh for each cup so it takes 5 or 6 minutes. I had the crustless quiche (GF) and it was delicious! You will enjoy this gem!

Placing our order was struggle and that gave us plenty of time to peer into the kitchen area where we could see the cooks spilling food all over the place, then proceed to step and slip in the spilled groceries. The dining area was pretty dirty. We also noticed that most customers were still waiting on food. (Another chain that has given priority to the drive through) On to our food...Our young granddaughter loved the chicken strips and fries. No surprise there. Wifey said her fries were fresh and her burger was just OK but she only ate half of it. My fries were fresh as well but my burger, oh my, my burger was a disaster! I ordered the Sweet N Spicy Gouda Burger and it was a mess, way too impossible to pick up and eat like a proper burger. I ended up using Braums finest plastic ware to remove the soggy buns, dismantle and consume the burger, bacon, jalapenos, and gouda. All while the wife is staring at my meal and chanting "take that back!" None of us wanted ice cream for dessert so we left rather unimpressed. I did peruse the market while waiting for our food and everything looked nice, clean, and we'll presented. (Except for the avocados which should have been discarded weeks ago) Final thought, we have no desire to revisit this location.

Good news and bad news. Good news is I found my new favorite coffee shop. Bad news is that it is…read morelocated in Wichita, KS! It's not a knock on the city, it's just that it's a 9 hour drive from Houston! I found this gem on a recent road trip through the Midwest. I was making a drive from Dallas and used ChatGPT to find me the best coffee between Dallas and Abilene, KS. Reverie Coffee Roasters popped up and Yelp reviews looked favorable so I plugged it into the GPS. I don't know the area, but it seemed to be located in their downtown area right off the interstate. I found street parking right out front and unsure if they have a dedicated lot. This place was alot bigger than I expected. Walking in is like a storefront with coffee and merch for sale, as well as where you order. Then they have a huge dining area with lots of seating as well as a patio out back. It looks like a perfect place to catch up with your peeps, read a good book or study. It was busy so the staff was straight business but in a polite and helpful way. They started off as a wholesale coffee roaster. They source their coffee from all around the world. On my visit, I saw coffees from Columbia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua. They also offer every type of brewing method like pour over, drip, chemex, cold brew, French press, etc. The fact that they do all that different sourcing and preparation methods shows me they care about putting out a superior product. My original plan was to grab a cup of joe and keep it moving to my destination, but after walking in and seeing they had nice looking pastries, I decided to get my order and enjoy it there. I love all things s'mores and saw they have a s'mores latte. I had to get it. Another weakness of mine is cinnamon rolls. I saw it on display and had to have it. They heat it up before serving it. I was able to find a cozy corner of the restaurant. My order got called shortly after. The latte was amazing. I could taste the little nuances of a s'more. They even topped the drink with a marshmallow drizzle. I savored that drink. Now let me sing the praise of that cinnamon roll. Hands down the best cinnamon roll I've had. This was a brioche cinnamon roll. They heated it up just right and the icing was just gooey enough without running off the roll. It was soft and oh so delectable. The sweet icing didn't mask the delicious buttery brioche either. Bite of that, then sip of the coffee was a match made in heaven. I had no intention of finishing this generous portion, but I simply could not let it go to waste either. Needless to say, I was on the struggle bus driving on to my next destination. If somehow I could replicate this place and put one in Houston, I would be the happiest man. I will most definitely come back through next time I drive through Wichita!

Great find for a local coffee shop in Wichita!…read more Solid menu, and a great selection of pastries and food items to boot. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte. The hazelnut option available was sugar free, but it did not have the weird aftertaste a lot of sugar free options do. Overall, a delicious latte and solid service. Lots of seating inside, the perfect place to set up and work for a while or catch up with friends.

Everything is good, everyone is friendly, prices are reasonable, everything we had was tasty. The owners will serve you up, with an adorable pint-sized helper that, rest assured, is being reminded constantly to wash his hands. It's a small seating area, but if you're from in-town, I can see that this is a great place to catch up with friends. The menu includes several sandwich options (breakfast and lunch), soup, baked goods, and an assortment of coffees and espressos. Didn't want to seem obnoxious so I only took a pic of the food menu. You aren't getting gourmet when you come, but I think it's a great place to stop in and have a quick coffee, and treat. Flavor profile for food is four stars, but I'm giving them the five stars because their service is great, atmosphere is cozy, and I think it's worth a stop in, if you're in the area. Keep it up Wildcat, look forward to stopping back in to try your soup menu.
