I actually got to start the day playing golf with my brothers-in-law and had a great time. I hadn't played much this year...played well for about 13 holes then the wheels came off and I started spraying the ball all over the place...still a fun day though. Can be a very tough course and the greens are unforgiving on bad shots and bad reads. After golf, we showered and got ready at the club while the wives got their mother to the club. It's been a very long time since I've been up here at Wiltwyck and having a couple drinks after our round help take the edge off a bit. Such a beautiful view of the course from the bar-though it tends to remind me of how little time we seem to have for ourselves these days. Anyway, once people started showing up we started with some drinks (or MORE drinks for me) and passed hors d'oeuvers before sitting down to an amazing buffet that included salmon, a carving table with tenderloin, roasted chicken, pasta, salads, veggies, etc. If there's one thing I've never questioned in all the times I've eaten at this club it's the food- it's always top notch. My wife and I actually had our wedding reception her a "few" years back and they really do a great job at formal, semi-formal, and just regular daily events. They hit the ball out of the park on our wedding night and they did it again when we were there for the party recently. You won't generally get anything TOO fancy at a buffet type of dinner like we had, but there have been times when, for dinner, the chef will get creative and when he does, you're taste buds are in for a treat. In a nutshell...Great golf, great food, great service, and great times...wish I lived closer and had enough extra time and $$ to be members here.

Only downside was there is nothing in the place to absorb the sound and it can be be very noisy and was at times hard to hear at our table. Before we started hitting the owner approached us in his golf cart showing us some initial attitude, asking us our skill level and telling us to "learn the game." We thought nothing of it and went on to hitting. We barely made it halfway through the first hole when I hit and created a small divot by accident. The owner saw this and drove onto the course while I walked a few feet forward to hit my ball. Again, he gave us that attitude and started being rude, swearing at us demanding that we replaced the divot. I told him that I was going to replace it and just wanted to finish playing my ball a few feet over. He drove directly in front of my ball with his golf cart, purposely blocked me, and kept rudely demanding that we replaced the divot. He continued to use bad language towards us and grew even more upset. What he was doing was completely unreasonable and disrespectful for paying customers, and he continued to show more aggression toward us. He then demanded us to leave the course, and called the police. He refused to give us a refund after we had paid 80 dollars to play on an already divot covered course. We barely made it through the first of the nine holes and it's safe to say that we won't be returning to finish them. The amount of disrespect that the owner shows to his customers is already obvious through other reviews, and I wouldn't recommend this place to any families or groups who are just trying to have a fun casual game of golf.

After about a 5 minute warm up period hitting some balls, Jeff made some adjustments to my backswing and grip that has worked wonders. Jeff has a great style about him and he immediately put me at ease. Even after the lesson was over, Jeff sent me some videos to reinforce what he taught me. I highly recommend Jeff!

Situated in a semi-farm like pasture setting, it was just what the doctor ordered. Well kept, shady seating areas, nicely mowed lawn, facing beautiful horses in the distance. Great place to get some swings in, nice staff, and very convenient to Hudson proper. The grass tees were not open during my visit but that was due to the heavy rain fall a couple of days before. I will definitely visit this place again!!

I've tried different systems for strength-training in gyms and on my own, but none gave me the results I've seen and felt in the past year. I am the most physically fit I've been in my life, and I relish the boost in my mental and emotional health from every session. Plus, I've never experienced difficulty finding or rescheduling sessions to work for me, so I've found it easy to keep the habit going. The community is unexpectedly wonderful as well. I enjoy the intergenerational semi-private group sessions and the relationships I build with other members. The spirit created is non-competitive, calm, friendly, and light-hearted. After 5 years of playing golf and struggling with my game, Susan helped me "unlock my swing", which enabled me to improve my drives, fairway game, chip shots and putting! The school includes range practice, video analysis and on-course play, which I really found beneficial. In addition to being a great pro, Sue is a wonderful person - very friendly and easy to work with. Her rates are very reasonable. The registration process is a bit cumbersome, but they will get back to you once you email them. I think this is one of the best schools I've ever been to. I wish I'd met Sue sooner. I highly recommend attending her golf school - you won't regret it!
