This is fabulous hotel. My husband and I stayed there for three weeks when I took a course at the Max Planck Institute (which is just up the road a bit) during the summer. When we arrived they had provided us with fresh fruit and bottled water, as well fresh flowers. Fresh flowers were put in the room regularly. I would get so hot walking back from class in the heatwave they had that summer, that my husband would turn the AC up in our room, which got to frigid levels. The hotel doesn't skimp on anything. Our room came with free morning breakfast (not all do), which was an incredible buffet the likes of which Las Vegas would be proud. The hotel staff was welcoming, the maids were perfection, and the room itself (a suite really) was both comfortable and beautiful. It has wonderful views and is right in the midst of town. It is very clean in the common areas and the pool area is immaculate. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. read more
