This review is just for the indoor pool, which is open year-round, and offers general swims, lessons, and special events. It's located inside a general store/lodge area, with a nice fireplace and sitting area. The pool is kept nice and warm for winter swimming, and it's a good size. I thought the entrance price was a bit steep, but you can literally go for the whole day. They also provide life jackets and toys for kids. The turn-off for me was the temperature of the pool room-- holy sweaty swimmers, batman! The room is 80+ degrees, with pool humidity to boot. It's almost okay if you're in the water, but if you're sitting on the deck you'd probably feel woozy if you're wearing anything more than a swimsuit. And you definitely can't do exercise in the pool. They have a hot tub, but I think I would have passed out if I had tried it. At the end of your swim, they have a few small change rooms with coin-op showers (a quarter is all you need). Went to use the pool today! It was clean, warm and friendly. Price was right. We are at the lake house on weekends all winter. It was nice to have a place to go. The hot tub was a nice soak. Everyone was friendly, not overloaded with people. Can't wait to use it again next week. read more
