On Wed decided enough was enough and contacted Levinson Eye Clinic to have it looked at and they managed to squeeze me in emergency visit. Turns out I had a scratch on my cornea somehow, 20% of it, and had been ripping it open with each and every blink. Not only did they take care of me completely, they offered the best eye care I've ever had (and I've a lot of eye problems in the past 7 years similar to this). They checked my eye thoroughly and even put a zero power contact on it as a bandaid SOMETHING NEVER DONE AT ANY OTHER PLACE I'VE BEEN TO (WERE THEY ALL IDIOTS?) Immediately my life went from please kill me to yay I feel almost normal. I highly recommend this eye clinic. Thanks so much Dr. Levinson.

I don't usually write reviews, but today decided that Dr. Levinson deserved a shoutout for how happy I STILL am with the results. Just had my eyes checked for the first time in a few years (moved out of state so can't follow with him anymore) and my astigmatism is returning a bit which I was told would happen but overall vision is still 20/20. At the young age of 47, just need to start using readers! So very happy that I spent the money 18 years ago and invested in LASIK surgery and trusted Dr. Levinson. It was a good experience then and I am still happy now. If you are considering LASIK surgery, this is who you should go with.

I have heard that seeing a flash in your eye is not a good thing. I called my insurance company, and found Dr. Lauren Zimski, an Ophthalmologist, was located near my work, and she accepted my insurance. I called. and was able to get in late that afternoon. I went and it all worked out fine. I was glad that I went. I had a new large floater in my right eye. My brain would adjust, and the flash of light was the floater, luckily. Seeing a flash of light can be a bad thing, so if this ever happens to you, get in to see an eye doctor ASAP. So, with that being said, I really liked Dr. Zimski. She is located in a small office with one other doctor. The office is small, by this, I mean, when you enter, the waiting room is right there, with the receptionist window right there when you enter. There are about six or seven chairs, but it's comfortable. Parking is easy, with parking lots nearby. Dr. Zimski does everything for/by herself, when you see her. If you need drops in your eyes, she does it, if you need your eyes dilated, she does it, if you need something else, she does it. She does it all, not an assistant. She takes her time with you, talks with you, listens to you. She is a medical doctor, an Ophthalmologist, meaning, according to Wikipedia, "the branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eyeball. An ophthalmologist is a specialist in medical and surgical eye problems." I wouldn't want anyone else except an Ophthalmologist dealing with my eyes, my vision. Dr. Zimski does an excellent job! If you need a good, caring, friendly, Ophthalmologist, then give Dr. Zimski a call. You will be glad you did, I'm glad I did. I'll be seeing you (and no pun intended either). thanks

But their support specialty low vision optometrist is the most advanced I have ever seen. His meticulous testing to get every little bit of vision still functioning to be best aided by a new Rx when possible is amazing. If you have difficult vision problems, the UCH Health Anschutz team is the most advanced in the area and on my insurance. The facility is modern and access through the parking garage bridge is free and simple. I had thought all medical facilities would have free parking but I recently learned that in some parts of the US, the medical buildings actually charge the patients to park! Not here. And easy access in winter as you go from covered enclosed parking through an enclosed bridge to an interior entry to the eye facility. And of course it is all ADA designed.

I had to cancel my surgery, which I did several days in advance due to a serious illness in my family. I rescheduled. I went to my PCP for my pre-surgery exam. I received a call from Omni from Taylor who gave me instructions and reiterated that my appointment was for 1:20 the next Monday. I don't get voicemail I get a transcript. On the day of my surgery we were on our way down there from Southeast Aurora, and I saw there had been a call from Omni. I called them and they said that I missed my appointment which had been rescheduled for 7:00 a.m.. I was so frustrated especially since I had been anxious about my surgery. I went back and looked and there were several calls but no messages. I listen to voicemail and there was no voicemail message, only the message from Taylor from the previous Wednesday. I call later that day to make another appointment for surgery in that department was unavailable. I called the next day and left a message, and the next day and left a message. I was told that I was on the list to be called but I have not heard back from them so am I blacklisted now? I am so frustrated with this office that I doubt if I all want to go back. I'll ask my regular ophthalmologist who I have seen for almost 30 years and who was also my mother's ophthalmologist, I will ask him to recommend a different surgeon. It seems that there is a lot at Omni Eye specialist that needs to be improved. Also my call was cut off twice at two different times so I'm wondering what is wrong with their telephone system?

I asked him if there was damage to that eye, and he said he didn't know, and told me he would see me in 3 months. That response was not good for me and decided to get a second opinion. I am so thankful I did. The new glaucoma doctor knew right away why my vision was blurry. He told me that the previous glaucoma surgery I had failed, and needed to have surgery 2 days later to correct the failed surgery done by Dr. Belen. If I would have stayed with Dr. Belen I could have lost vision in that eye because of his lack of concern not wanted to pursue with further test why my vision was blurry.

I didn't even think I would qualify for Lasik, so I never bothered to look into it until my brother decided to, so we ended up scheduling consults at the same time. The office is so nice, and the staff are amazing! Jessica, Elizabeth, Audra, and both eye doctors I saw were so nice and caring and excited for us to get the procedures! To explain, I qualified for Standard LASIK. Because my prescriptions are so high in each eye, I will not be able to get a revision down the road if my eyes regress a bit. This is OK with me since I haven't been able to see clearly without glasses or contacts for over 20 years, so if I need a couple of contacts to sharpen my sight in 10 or even 5 years, that's fine with me. The biggest benefit is that with Lasik, my eyes will never be as bad as they were before. The surgery was a bit uncomfortable, but it was very quick. I think it took 7ish minutes total. I could see immediately after I opened my eyes, and I started crying because I was so happy and grateful! The next day, my vision was very sharp. I'm really looking forward to the things that stunk with contacts- like skiing and camping and even just seeing the sunrise immediately in the morning. :)
