I originally came in to fix three oil leaks and have the bike serviced ( brakes, chain and valves). I was told they could do it in a couple weeks time. After 5 weeks of no contact from them and me trying to get any kind of update, they said the bike was ready. After three rides the oil leak I specifically pointed out, was leaking again. I take it back in and they say that was a different leak and make me pay for the repair a second time. Instead of trying to get me back out riding it takes them 2 weeks to look at it and give me a written estimate. The parts they are ordering don't fit my bike( thankfully I caught it) and take another 6 weeks to get in. In total they had my bike for 3 MONTHS to fix something they said they could do in 2 weeks. Overall review is they're a very unprofessional shop from the owner on down. Prices are the same as a dealership but you don't get a guarantee behind the service. The communication from them informing you of updates is non-existent. Will give you time estimates on repairs that they can not meet and won't return calls to explain why. had a written estimate to do work on my Kawasaki, but I had to wait 5 months to get the back ordered parts in. I called the shop up told him I have the parts and can drop the bike off, and if there's anything else they needed or changed, let me know. they said no. drop the bike off. shops about an hour away. drove the bike up. dropped it off about a week later. they give me an email saying that they revised my estimate and it was 300% more than original written estimate. no explanation, just said that's what the cost is now. I already had dropped my bike off and paid $465 deposit and thought about just having them do the work, but I felt I was being scammed. and I couldn't trust them. I get this is their busy season, but to wait till you got a guy's bike in your shop and then tell him you're going to charge him three times the cost quoted, who knows what The final bill would be when I picked it up after the work. so picked my bike up. brought it to another shop. recommend get everything definitively in writing before you drop your bike off. read more

Brought my '24 Honda Rebel 1100 here to have aftermarket tires put on (entire bike, not the wheels). Was charged slightly over an hour of labor for the job, which is very fair for two tires with the wheels still on, perhaps even on the lower end of some estimates. Bike was ready for pickup the next day, so I was fit in quite quickly. The labor rate reflects the fact that this shop is geared towards speciality bikes, vintage bikes, etc., but also comes with a similar level of quality service for normal bikes, which the shop will happily service. Additionally, the labor rate is still lower than Honda dealerships. I mostly interacted with the person working the front desk, who was incredibly polite and friendly, which was an excellent first impression. Overall, I'd recommend bringing any bike here for work, and will revisit the shop in the future for maintenance/modifications. read more

If you think an oil change on a dirt bike should cost $175, then this is the place for you!.. I brought my wr400 to these guys with a cracked gas tank, hoping to get it replaced, along with an oil change. Apparently, Yamaha made my bike with two different tank/seat configurations. Colorado Moto Service ordered the wrong one, and put it on my bike without first verifying that they had the correct tank, to fit with my stock seat. As a result, a new seat was also required...which they made me pay for! Long story short, they robbed me of almost $1,000 between replacing a tank....forcing me to buy a new seat...and doing a simple oil change...that if I knew they were going to charge me $175 for, I would have just done myself. They took NO RESPOINSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKE, and when I told them that they were lucky I didn't have them remove the tank they had put on and replace it with the correct one, they shrugged, teamed up on me, and said...here's your bill. If they had offered to pay for the new seat required because of THEIR ERROR...or even offered to split it with me, I probably wouldn't be writing this review. They had my bike for two-months, and when it was finally finished, they left me feeling pissed off, and cheated...as a result of their own incompetence! I will not be going back...and I WILL be making a point to tell everyone I know that rides motorcycles, about my first...and last encounter with Colorado Moto Service. read more

He did a complimentary 40 point inspection, emailed me same day with a list of a few things he found along with diagnosing an oil leak I asked about. We agreed upon a list of items to work on and he turned my bike over to me in a day! Not only did he show me all the old parts he removed (like a true pro), he freaking detailed my Bonneville!!
