I enjoy Colorado Rapids game because of the great energy in the stadium. To begin, the supporters group, Centennial 38 has a great tailgate starting 3 hours before the game. They have beer, seltzers, and food to get everyone excited for the game. When going in the stadium, you may bring a sealed water bottle in, this comes in very handy, as there are water bottle refill stations. The best place to watch the game is with the aforementioned supporters group. Centennial 38 has section 108, 117 and 118. 108 is reserved seating, while 117 and 118 are standing room sections. 117 is the rowdier section. The ticket prices are cheaper in these sections, if you buy from Centennial 38. I was waving flags,l and singing the entire game. After the game, there was a post-game fireworks show. Tip: bring blankets to lay on the field and watch the show! This was a great experience and a really good value for my money. read more

I think the Colorado Rapids have been a good team since their inception. The Rapids are one of the original 10 teams to begin MLS play in 1996. Over that time, they are top 10 in the league's all-time standings and they won the 2010 MLS Cup. Out of the current 27 active teams in MLS, Colorado is one of 13 (less than half) to have won the Cup. Conversely, the Rapids haven't won any other trophies such as the Supporters' Shield (best regular season record) or US Open Cup. At the 2010 MLS Cup, striker Conor Casey was named Man of the Match. Let me rapidly review the Rapids for you. Colorado has been one of the standout teams in MLS for a long time and ever since they got Tim Howard, who is the face of the franchise now, they've been doing pretty well and keeping a lot of clean sheets. Having said that I do think they could do a better job at securing titles and many championships. People like Pablo Mastroeni put a lot of heart and soul into the club but the club would have needed to arrange a roster and management really capable of winning and they haven't done that yet. The stadium up here in Colorado is wonderful and they did a great job manufacturing it and giving the fans of MLS one of the better experiences in the league. It opened in 2007 and is the highest elevation stadium for all of MLS. It seats about 20k but hasn't developed the most intense crowd as of yet. read more

We were here for the PLL (Premier Lacrosse League) tournament. We had covered seating right at the mid-field. It was an over-cast day, so we were thankful for the coverage. If it were a sunny day, the coverage would have helped block the sun. The amenities/concessions were typically priced for a sports event. It was nice & clean & the turf is well taken care of. As you can see by my profile picture, I'm a rapids fan. However, let me tell you how it happened and maybe you might follow the same path. Four years ago, I met my wife. I NEVER enjoyed soccer. In fact, I used to jeer at it for being boring and hard to watch. Well, my wife took me to a rapids game because she loved soccer and wanted to see if I would too. Well, I went to one soccer game and am now a season ticket holder that tailgates before every home game and joins our supporters group for their activities to celebrate the rapids. The front office staff are amazing. My representative goes out of his way to make sure that I'm happy with whatever it might be that I need. Sometimes he justs calls to ensure that everything is ok and that I'm enjoying the games. The rapids really do a great job in treating their season ticket holders like gold, and I appreciate that from any business. The customer are what drive your business. In any event, I highly recommend anyone that is looking for something to do for a relatively small amount of money and that is a lot of fun for the whole family to come on out to a Rapids game. I finally made it to my first Rapids game and it was fun! I think the MLS still has a long way to go to be comparable to other leagues across the world, but it's also still young in comparison. So, while the Rapids will not replace my beloved FC Bayern in my heart, it's nice to be able to see a quality game much closer to home. If it wasn't such a nightmare to get in and out of the stadium, I'd be up for going to many more games. As it stands, I might start going to one a year or so. But, I'll look forward to enjoying a good game whenever I come back. read more

I have been a season ticket member for going on 4 years now, through the good and the bad. This year has been great on the pitch, however the off the field service that has been received from the Rapids front office has led me to this poor review. Myself and others in my particular section have been there for years and this year the Rapids front office has decided that it was going to incorporate the supporters section into the main stands without notifying anyone of their plan to do so. They have removed the first ten rows of quiet well mannered fans with loud, obnoxious fans with their constant drumming, someone on a megaphone (whom you can't understand a word of what they are saying), some guy who can't leave his shirt on which is highly disgusting and last of all, no action by the front office to remove them and place them back on the north end of the pitch. Not only have I have had many conversations with members of the Rapids organization and nothing has been accomplished, but others like me have had just as many if not more conversations similar to my own. The lack of action from the front office leads me no where else to turn except for here and other social media platforms to hopefully get some sort of answers and action by the organization. read more

We went to our first MLS soccer game last Saturday, and am happy to say I am now a Rapids fan. The stadium is very nice and modern. Plenty of concession and souvenir stands throughout. The only criticism I have is the parking. It seems like the only general parking is in a large dirt field. It is very out of place considering how nice the facility is, but I guess since the parking is free, you take the good with the bad. Overall, we really enjoyed the game and will return when we are back in town during the season. read more

How do I put into words my thought on the Rapids. Maybe I just put into words my thoughts on being a first year season ticket holder. If you feel like paying lots of money to be treated like a second-class citizen by all means buy premium season tickets (I.e. Field Level, summit club, etc.). You will be filled to your hearts content on being treated poorly. Now to be fair our interactions with the people who sell season tickets and other season-ticket representatives have been pretty good so you might not have any issues if you go for a basic level package or be even safer and save some money and buy a supporters section ticket (by the way they throw a great tailgate for a $7 donation). Our frustrations are directed solely on our representative (Leslie) and the private security company (Argus) at the stadium. Please know this review is not based on one game but on a continued level of atrocious disrespect and incompetence on multiple fronts over multiple games.
