A great event for kids. A nice event for a date but unfortunately the soccer team isn't that great. In there defense the ref was horrible. The stadium is beautifully done and the staff was extremely helpful and friends.

I think the Colorado Rapids have been a good team since their inception. The Rapids are one of the original 10 teams to begin MLS play in 1996. Over that time, they are top 10 in the league's all-time standings and they won the 2010 MLS Cup. Out of the current 27 active teams in MLS, Colorado is one of 13 (less than half) to have won the Cup. Conversely, the Rapids haven't won any other trophies such as the Supporters' Shield (best regular season record) or US Open Cup. At the 2010 MLS Cup, striker Conor Casey was named Man of the Match. He scored a goal for Colorado in the second half. The final score was Colorado 2, FC Dallas 1. The other Colorado goal was actually scored by a Dallas player, George John. It became the first-ever own goal in MLS Cup history. Casey currently holds the club record for most goals with 50. The goalie on that team was Matt Pickens. Pickens currently holds numerous club records in goalkeeping including games played (116), games started (116), minutes played (10,336), wins (41), and shutouts (29). Defensive midfielder Pablo Mastroeni holds the club records for games started (217) and played (225) as well as minutes played (18,669). The Rapids have had three home stadiums. They first played at Mile High Stadium (now defunct) and Invesco Field (now Empower Field at Mile High) in Denver. The latter has been the Denver Broncos' home since 2001. Since 2007, the Rapids have played at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, just north of Denver. Also known as DSG Park or "The Dick," it's a soccer-specific stadium with a standard seating capacity of 18,061. In non-COVID years, average attendance at The Dick has been in the 14,000 to 15,000+ range with a peak average attendance of 16,278 in 2016. When driving to The Dick to attend Rapids games, a parking fee is already included in the price of each ticket. Numerous lots surround the stadium. PLL tournament (7-28-19)

We were here for the PLL (Premier Lacrosse League) tournament. We had covered seating right at the mid-field. It was an over-cast day, so we were thankful for the coverage. If it were a sunny day, the coverage would have helped block the sun. The amenities/concessions were typically priced for a sports event. It was nice & clean & the turf is well taken care of. We had a blast & would come back again!

Worked with the fine folks at Nuggets HQ to plan a group sports outing and their team--Alexa in…read moreparticular--made it easy peasy. She did a great job setting up our group-specific code for a "VIP" experience which included sitting court-side for warm ups and $10 loaded onto each ticket to be used at the concession stand or gift shop. There was a little bit of confusion at the check in area when we arrived. Although we arrived in the area we had been instructed to go to, the gentleman there was pretty confused about our group and wasn't quite sure what to do. We eventually made it down to the court to watch the warm ups, which was pretty rad! We then had a little more confusion when it came time to find our actual seats. Our tickets were on the "Flash Seats" app but it turns out you need to have them physically printed when you walk in. We had to head back down to the check in area and have them printed--wasn't a huge deal, but I feel like this detail could've been communicated ahead of time for a smoother experience. All in all, mostly everyone we worked with was kind and helpful and we had a great time cheering on our local team. Ever I, who's not much of a sports fan, could see myself heading back for a Nuggets game in the future. Go team!!

Maybe it was the excitement of being in the playoffs but it was a full house and so much energy! My only negative comment is before you go into the arena make sure you have backup screenshots of your tickets available. Their wifi wasn't very good and when we got up to scan the tickets it just kept loading. This was a bit of a headache, so just be overly prepared!

The Spartans are a professional indoor arena football team that's fast paced, fun entertainment, fan focused & affordable! They're lots of scoring & the players have a great time dancing. Fans get to keep the footballs that land in the crowd or are thrown to the fans by players after scoring. Players are available for autographs & photos after the game too. Ticket prices run around $25, however ours were only $11 each. We went to the first game of the season - Colorado Spartans (69) vs Las Vegas Kings (18). There were no signs that we saw for parking so it took awhile to figure out where to go. The game ball was brought out by one of the city councilman driving an exotic sports car. The team as a whole was pretty talented. The Quarterback had a good arm & was quite mobile, the RunningBack was fast with great moves & the Defense was solid, giving up only 18 points. The DJ & the sound system was very good, as were the Spartan Cheerleaders. The coliseum seats seem to be original 1950 vintage - they were hard & wooden with no cupholders. There were a some food options, we had burgers & they were just so so & the chicken tenders (3) with fries for $12 - they were pretty tasty. In addition, there was plenty of Spartan merch to purchase as well. All in all a great game & night. I'm looking forward to a fun season!
