Gary does an excellent job of teaching him proper piano techniques and skills such as timing, body position, rhythm and makes it fun. My son had already developed some bad habits or not learned them correctly the first two years of lessons. Gary worked diligently to make sure those were corrected and he had a good foundation and has improved exponentially these past two years. Gary incorporates songs my son is familiar with into his lessons as well as technique practice. With his improvement over the past two years, he has also developed a love for playing and frequently asks if he can practice rather than me having to constantly remind him to practice.
