However, what keeps this from being 5 stars is a rather cold and unfriendly welcome. The woman behind the counter did the exchange but showed no friendliness. Also, although I checked the rate on their website before I went in, I got less than the rate quoted. I know exchange rates fluctuate but this was a very rapid drop. Also, the owner was there and walked right past us as we were leaving, but instead of acknowledging us in any way, he averted his eyes and looked at the floor. Is it just too much effort to look at your customers and say "Thanks for coming in," or similar or even just a friendly smile? We felt completely unwelcome and will go elsewhere for future currency exchanges. How you treat your customers DOES matter.

I asked to get some loonies and loonies and they accommodated that request as the money was to be a souvenir for my 9 year old on their first international trip.
