This is for the king dumplings, holy fuckballs. They are duh-mazing. Words can't even describe these oversized meat filled goodness. I could die right now as I'm eating this and I'd die happy. These are huge dumplings. It comes in 6 but for their size I count it as 12. They serve it with a dipping sauce has a nice kick to it, and some yellow radishes. This is the shit. That's all I have to say. Oh and I only finished 3 so this is definetly something you should share. read more

Honestly.... I dont know why i love it here. I think its the price and the combination of their msg filled jjamppong. You get a lot for what you pay for. You want a quick lunch that does a good seafood noodle then come here. I recommend only their jjampong. Their jjajang is whatever. If youre in the area ill say that their jjamppong is better than new gardens specialty jjamppong. read more

Accidentally stumbled into this well hidden "restaurant". They do take credit cards (visa/master) and i think they close at 7pm. They started to clean up at around 7 when i was there. It's a family, local style place. They make your food right away and quickly. A good choice for something quick and easy. read more

The spicy seafood noodles and the jajangmyun was fantastic while also being very cheap. However, one item I would not recommend is the stir fried rice. I got the shrimp rice; it was acceptable and cheap as well but the taste was a bit lacking. Other than that, I absolutely love this place. read more

tried the jajangmyun, jjamppong, and wang mandu! food was better than I expected, but not amazing. it had the typical quality of junky comfort food and the portion are pretty amazing for the price. I appreciated that the food was on the sweeter side - love me some sweet savory food. only gripe is that's it's basically a stall in a supermarket, so prissy fancy pants me is creeped out by the hygiene factor [but it's essentially an open kitchen, so you can see exactly what they're doing]. maybe would get take out next time! read more

The first time I went there, I went without expecting much since it's a small restaurant inside a Korean market, but their black bean noodle and king dumplings were way beyond my expectations. I went there again today and tried the fried rice with shrimp, and it was bomb. The best thing about this place is that the food is bomb and they give you A LOT. I've never seen such biased, inconsiderate workers at an establishment like this before. I ordered a bowl of jabon (spicy noodle soup). Right after, a couple that they seemed to know ordered two bowls of the same thing (one spicy and one not spicy). They gave the their order first and also gave the spicy noodle soup much more than mine. I have been there many times with my family, I know how much they give in an order. They took most of my noodles, squid, vegetables and gave them to the other customer. I went up and complained, they wouldn't even look at me. I definitely did not have my fill. I don't care if you give them more than me, but how can you take my portion and give it to them? I will never come to this place again. I can't believe how blatantly obvious they were and they don't care. I really shows their attitude towards customer service. read more

awesome king dumplings both fried or steamed!!! very filling & delicious! they are pretty huge & you can get full eating just two. comes with a nice dumpling sauce, kinda spicy. the mongolian noodles are also very good!!! those are the two things i usually order there. i like that it is near home & the service is really fast & always made fresh. located inside a korean market so walk around & buy some korean tea/snacks & cheap crown royal whiskey while you wait for your food to cook (what i always do!). read more

If I could give a ZERO star, I most certainly would. First of all, they pour in so much MSG in their food for flavoring. They scooped in so many spoonful of MSG powder into making champon soup it made me sick. Anyone who's sensitive to MSG, be aware! Secondly, the lady owner is a just nasty and rude ajumma. She has a piss poor attitude and often condescending (coming from a jjajangmyun ajumma). I saw her cussing out an old Chinese couple who decided not to order after inquiring prices. She called them ignorant. This is not the first time. Based her behavior it is her who is ignorant (and uncivilized). She needs to take a lesson on etiquette. My family shops at Hanam quite often for grocery but I will not patronize this restaurant again. read more

Found chunks of canned tuna or some other kind of fish (???) in my black bean noodle sauce, and the sauce for the sweet and sour pork was just... way off. The biggest disappointment, the dumplings. Huge chunks of cartilage inside the dumplings in every single one of them. I ordered 2 boxes to take home, too. read more

I went into this restaurant for a take-out thinking that since this is a fast food restaurant, my orders should be quick. It took them more than 1 hr to get my food ready. I only ordered king dumplings, beef bowl and dumpling noodle soup. The service is just horrible. I don't believe they speak much English. Every time I asked how my orders are doing, the cashier points to the empty cardboard box which was obviously waiting o be filled. If you don't mind waiting, I guess this place is ok. i am giving four stars strictly based on the spicy seafood soup (jjampong)... it is awesome. they skimp on the seafood a bit but the flavor is awesome. i only get one shrimp and the rest is octopus and squid. it's still really tasty though. i'm pretty sure i saw the chef dump a lot of msg in the wok while he was cooking. i am not sure that's what it was but it couldnt have been salt otherwise i would have choked. i love the flavor but i am a little bit suspect of the msg issue. hey you only live once and this is awesome soup so i will have to indulge from time to time. i went twice this week. pretty good little food stall located on left side of market. good fast food. if anyone reads this and can confirm my msg suspicion then let me know... read more

So disappointed. I used to come here very often with my family but the past few times I've been here has just left me in disappointment. Last time I came here my mom and I ordered spicy seafood noodle and was disappointed to find the texture of the soup very gooey and nasty. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because I've been here so often and never have I had a problem but just yesterday my brother and I ordered black bean paste noodle and shrimp fried rice. When the fried rice came out it looked like it had been boxed for a while and just taken out onto a plate and microwaved. It was bland and nasty. The black bean paste noodle was extra oily and just unappetizing. We left super disappointed and when we got home we both got food poisoning and stayed up all night barfing and running to the restroom. I don't think I'll be back because their quality of food just keeps getting worse. WARNING FOOD POISONING!! read more

I come here every so often to get the jjmyun (black bean noodles), and the noodles are very chewy and delicious. But that is the only reason why I did not give a zero star review today. Just earlier, I had come here at around 6:45PM and ordered my usual. I was engrossed in a book I was reading, but noticed that I had not even received the appetizers after 20 minutes (radish and kimchi). The waitress was refilling other people's kimchi and bustling around, so I assumed she was busy and waited. At around 7:30 I lost my patience and asked her when my noodles would be ready since she already served so many people who came after me. She then told me 5 minutes, and I saw her simply take a bowl of just-cooked noodles and add a sauce that was pre-prepared. That did not have to take almost 50 minutes to prepare the noodles. I am extremely disappointed in the service provided to me and will not consider returning to here anytime soon. read more
