While passing through Barcelona on our way to the south of Spain, we decided to stay for a night…read moreand have ourselves a memorable dinner.
We decided to visit Llamber a tapas restaurant on the outskirt of Park de la Ciutadella.
The restaurant has a light and airy ambiance, the tables are decently spaced for a more private conversation.
We then started with a bottle of Spanish Rosé together with some tapas to share.
We had the patitas, black pearl oyster served with rock salt and mignonette and the chef's take on a Spanish bao bun. We found the pork belly flavorful and crispy and blended well with the bun, in hindsight we should have ordered one for each.
For our main entree, I ordered paella with seared tuna while my partner chose Entrocôte served with shishito peppers and fries. We found all the dishes simply epicurean and the waiters took time to describe everything on the menu. It was well plated and the dishes came in a timely fashion and everything went well with the wine choice.
We felt that we were looked after throughout the stages of the dinner. With great customer service and quality of food, this place is recommended whenever you are visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona.
