We went to close out an account after death of a member, as beneficiaries, and the man who took care of us was horrible. He took documents of ours, disappeared, and he never explained anything to us, gave us a cashiers check and that was it. We also went to Dearborn federal Credit union and the scenario was so different. We were brought into a private room, everything explained to us, talked us through options, and we even decided to keep some money here. But at this Credit Union things are a little different it has the bank feel but the credit union personal feeling. At this location the teller was very helpful even was the security guard who pointed my son in the right direction because my son had to use the restroom. This place is very clean and very comfortable. Usually at Banks they have those 1960s wood paneling walls stuffy feeling. I did not have that feeling here. Everything was open.. I felt safe and the staff was extremely polite. If you're looking for a credit union definitely try this one out.
