We booked two nights because of games at Lakepoint. The games kept being pushed back because of of heavy rains and lightning. We were told there would be a third game the next day, so we extended our stay. Hours later, they canceled the third game so we tried to cancel our reservation for the third night, but we were told "no" because the reservation was made the same day...what? This hotel is all about making money and not taking care of their guests. I hope the sports teams read this and decide to stay somewhere else in the future. read more

Needed a cheap place to stay in Kennesaw for a few nights and this was the most affordable hotel that wasn't a dirty, run-down place going by the reviews I saw on websites like Booking dot com. Fortunately my first impression walking into the room was that it was pretty clean. The bed and blankets were surprisingly comfortable. Passed the bedbug test. It could use a remodel or an update, but for the price I don't mind. Another plus is the complimentary breakfast. It had a lot of offerings including a DIY waffle station, hot bacon and eggs, cereal with milk, yogurt, muffins, orange juice, etc. The hotel is a 3.5 experience rounded up because of the breakfast. read more

Two and a half stars. This Comfort Inn in Woodstock needs a lot of love. It's really run down with chips in the paint, carpet stains, etc. The decor needs updating. The gym is tiny with three cardio machines and no weights. I guess it's nice that they have laundry facilities available but there is one washer and one dryer. A continental breakfast is available with the usual fare. The coffee was not good. We stayed her because it was the only place we could get a suite. I guess the bed was comfortable enough as I slept well. It was annoying that housekeeping left only two bath towels in our room daily and I had to ask for towels every day. However, the staff was very friendly and responsive. Would not be my first choice but I would stay here in a pinch. read more

What starts it off waking up at 5 am in the morning to finding a BED BUG CRAWLING AWAY FROM ME after catching it and obviously killing it , it is filled with blood ( must have had a great meal ) . So I bring it to the front desk and the individual helping me is such a sweet boy but he tells me he can't do anything he has to wait for his manager to get here but he can put me in another room . I take the other room and REFUSE to get in the bed because now I don't feel comfortable here not one bit . I came at 10 ( when he told me the manager would be here ) to speak to Samyra ( the Indian front desk manager ) who has one of the nastiest rude attitudes that I have ever came in contact with . Talking about did he not switch your room .... Umm YESS you were not here nor available and not there at 8 am sharp when I tried to come down again . A little unsure when we checked in but turned out great. In general, I like the various hotels under the Choice Hotel Banner including Comfort Inn. I had only seen this one from a distance on our previous trips to this area and it looked nice enough. Ended up a bit worried when we checked in. Lot smaller than it originally looked, a bit older as well and close to I-75 and the road noise. None of this proved to be a problem because the customer is treated more like a boutique hotel customer than just a customer. I am recovering from a hip injury and when we walked in on crutches, the manager immediately upgraded our room and moved us to the first floor to make things easier. We did not even ask and that level of concern was appreciated. Granted the hotel is a bit older and smaller than most Comfort Inns but it has been and still is very well taken care. We were on the side of the hotel closest to I-75 and the building is so well sound insulated, we did not hear anything. Very clean and housekeeping does almost too good a job. We had put aside the adv from the Black Friday Papers and in their cleaning, they had cleaned them them as well. Don't worry, we got them back before my wife hit the mall. They have a rudimentary but good Continental Breakfast. Not fancy but basic Eggs with Cheese, Biscuits, Cereals, Pastries etc.Most people looking for more than just a light breakfast would go to a number of other restaurants in the area with a more full menu. Bottom line. Clean and Comfortable, Great Friendly Staff that makes a traveler feel at home. Very reasonable rates and just off I-75. Good Value read more

After staying at this hotel for over a month (spending over$3500 in room fees) I was put in a room that had mold growing in it. I let the front desk know and nothing was even said about it. Then I called Choice hotels and they apologized to me and offered me points in regards of the complaint. The next day I received an email from comfort inn stating since I made a complaint I would no longer be allowed to make reservations or stay at the hotel. This is insulting to me knowing how much money I have spent at this hotel. All I did was let them know they had mold growing in the room. read more

Denzel was awesome at check in. So friendly. Had the best customer service!!! Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. As much as I want to give this hotel 5 stars I can't!! My car was hit in the parking lot. Hotel staff was notified yet they didn't tell me. Hotel staff even threw the bumper cover to the car in the dumpster. Very disappointed with the handling of this. Thankful that another guest notified me that the bumper was thrown away by hotel staff. read more

One of my favorite quick stop hotels in the area! Our house was getting renovations done nearby, so we stayed here for about a week and it was terrific! The staff is super nice and very efficient at their job. The manager Viren helped me out with a great rate and was super accommodating to what we needed as well. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed, and the staff was very receptive when we needed anything extra. Definitely will be staying here again if we ever need somewhere, and we recommend to everyone who stays in town! read more

This hotel is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in a long time. They treat guests like family greeting everyone as they enter the lobby. They call you by name and they are very friendly. The owners do it right here. The housekeepers change the bed sheets, vacuum the floor, dust, mop the bathroom floor, and scrub the tub and sink DAILY! I am a witness! They change out the glasses with clean fresh ones. The beds are comfortable and it is a great place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

Where do I begin. this happened tonight with the guy at the front desk I called to ask if there were any double rooms available. His answer was yes. I call my dad to let him know there are rooms available (I'm in Cali and parents traveled to Georgia, Spanish speaking so I do all the talking). Dad goes in, not even 5mins later and he is told that there is none available since it is late at 3:30am! Ummm I'm paying for the stay, not asking for a free night. I decide to call him again and ask if there are rooms available. Well what do you know, there are rooms available. I asked him why he was not accepting my parents to stay with the coupon and he said that it was because it was 3:30am. HE HANGED UP!! I called him again and asked if that was the only reason and he said that if I had a problem to come or call back tomorrow and talk to management. HE HANGED UP AGAIN. I called him again and warned him that if he hanged up again I would take up his working ethics with corporate. That I just wanted a clarification. Then he came up with the fact that all the rooms with coupon price had already been rented out. I asked him if he knew exactly what he was saying and wether there were rooms available and he said he didn't know. I asked him how he worked in a job and not know anything about it. HE HANGED AGAIN!! Funny how his story changed. I hope someone complains and gets this racist person who at the moment he saw my dad decided that all the rooms were booked and he gets fired. read more

I stayed here on Tuesday, May 12, and didn't really know what to expect. I am a faithful Marriot customer. I booked this hotel on line, with a deal on line, that showed me the closest hotel. I had driven for several hours and just wanted to find a hotel and check in quickly while I was traveling to Florida. From the moment I entered the hotel the service was way above and beyond from anything I expected. The gentleman who checked me in, was very welcoming from the moment I entered, he greeted me, thanked me for visiting the Comfort Inn and asked how he could help me. I told him, I had reservations and was checking in. He handled the check in like a pro, I asked him where I could get something to eat, a good burger, he went over all the places, he did a great job of telling me all the places I could go, then I told him, I just wanted quick and close, he recommended Cook out, which was close, I went there and the burger was fabulous! it was real hamburger! I then went back to the hotel, hoping I would get a good night sleep. I suffer from extreme chronic pain and after driving for so long, all I wanted was a comfy bed!. The bed at comfort inn was just like sleeping at the Marriot! It was extremely comfortable, suffering from chronic pain, I never expected such a high quality mattress and never slept as good as I did that night. It was also clean, I am OCD about clean sheets, clean bathrooms, etc., Again, it was better than I expected. The room was clean!! The next morning when I checked out, again, I was greeted warmly by a lady who was again, very welcoming, and asked me if I needed any assistance. The service was fantastic!!! I came for the weekend, and I had the best experiance staying at this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. Not sure about the previous owner experiance, but it was a relaxing weekend. I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptional and the rooms have recently been completely renovated with new beds that feel like a dream. The breakfast was fully stocked and hot. I'm a Choice Hotel member , and their hotels are my family's go to hotels when we do long drives and out of state vacations... But this one in particular ...where do I begin!!! NEEDS more food!!!! Came in with my 3kids down for B'fast @ 9:00am ( our clock in the room was an hour late!) . No more eggs ( asked for more & they came back with only 3 pcs! I guess we'd just have to share!??) no more milk ... No more pancakes! Not that one too!? Asked for more & re-filled just the regular , I guess the blueberry pancake mix was finished already...and don't get me even started with the syrup... Just 4 exactly...my complain is... Why do we always have to ask for everything? Why wasn't it available in the B'fast area and refilled? No orange juice!? Gotta ask for refill ..again...Not enough milk for 3kids...:( honestly ... Whoever is the big boss of Choice Hotels... This chain needs some budget for food!!!!... So we just decided to get take out from McDonalds...while getting ready to leave,noticed an empty Gatorade bottle behind the curtains..NOT ours! Upon arrival I asked for a late checkout, the deskperson didn't offer me quite as long as I wanted but promised to check for me and give me a call. No call. When entering my room I thought the AC/heater unit sounded loud, it got louder throughout the evening, too loud at one point. I shut it off, in hopes of it going away when I turned it back on. It did, but thats because the unit would no longer turn on! Went donwstairs shortly after 1 am as the room was getting stuffy, and it was difficult to sleep wthout any backround noise since we had such a loud noise earlier. It took a while for the deskperson to find a fan, and I was greatly appreciative, but front desk people should know where the fans are kept. Once I finally got to bed it took awhile to get to sleep again. When I woke the room was just really uncomfortable, and I opted to just forget staying in the hotel all morning while My son had an appt as originally planned. We went down to breakfast, and well where was it? First of all they have a very small area for breakfast, we came down at about halfway through the breakfast time allowed and I opened the hot plate and it was practically empty. Only one bisquit left, and it was hard as a rock. I opted for donuts, and they just didn't seem fresh, opted to cancel eating breakfast and grabbed a good cup of coffee. When checking out I was asked how my stay was, when I told her about my room she briefly said too bad, gave me my receipt and got back on the phone call she was on when I arrived at the desk. I didn't see her write my complaint down ant all, I'm betting the nights guest had no ac/heat at all!! I am a choice member, I normally have great experiences at choice hotels, but this was very disappointing. read more
