I stopped at this hotel after a car accident. Joanne Shonsky, the receptionist carried my suitcase a flight of stairs. Made me fresh coffee and ensured I was okay. She told me where I could get medicine from which was a Turkey gas station across the street. She booked me a room within minutes. The next morning I had breakfasts included in my reservation and they let me complete my work call, even though it was past my check-out time. When I walked down Joanne was talking to a young boy and accompany him. She was so welcoming and caring to all of her customers. read more

The outside looks very cute. The inside rooms could use a little update, but the room was clean enough. It was nice to have a refrigerator in the room for some of the perishables we were taking home. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is a breakfast that is included. We only grabbed a yogurt,but the waffles smelled amazing. The hallways are a little on the dim side but it was okay. I stayed for 4 nights. all employees were friendly and helpful. The room was smelly, maybe mold? Clean linens. But my bed had a hugh sink hole. now I have a sore back. The breakfast was poor. bagels mini muffin and fake eggs. A restaurant is needed or provide mini kitchens in the rooms. Also needed are 2 bed 2 bath suites so a family can stay comfortably. Hotel is in a quiet area with a few restaurants close by. Check in service was good. Hotel was clean with no bugs, that's always a good thing. Coffee was good. Breakfast had bacon! The only negative I can say is that there were double beds which is not comfort to me. read more

My husband and I stayed over the weekend and it was pleasant. Pros: Clean , full hot breakfast , coffee and lemon water in the lobby available all day, friendly staff. Cons: Hotel needs some updating , rooms are dated and beds definitely need to be replaced bathrooms are VERY small. Another thing that did not impress me is that there didn't seem to be any hotel security since there were some sketchy people hanging around the lobby and outdoors. Conclusion would I stay there again , not if there were other options in the area that were comparable. read more

It is adequate for the area. We usually stay in the area about once a year, and this is typically the best place available. But it's not without its flaws. The hallways are very dark. The rooms are very outdated. The bathroom is quite small. The temperature in the room is either too hot or too cold. There is a pervasive odor of either cigarettes or mold, hard to tell. Still, the room was clean, the service was friendly, and it was still less than 100 bucks per night. Still too expensive for what you get, but as I said, it is adequate. read more

Stayed here overnight while attending an auction at Morphy Auctions close by. Very nice hotel. The reception staff friendly and helpful. Room clean well appointed with all necessary amenities. Stayed here almost 2 weeks during my training with Lester Summers Trucking. During our stay, Kimberly, and Jamie made our stay very pleasant. Both were always very nice to us, with a big smile greeting us daily. We did have some small problems with management, but as long as these 2 ladies are still here, i definitely stay here again. This is exactly what makes you to consider a hotel as a nice and comfortable one or not. The picture attached is what I came to after my room had a service! Just look at the bed and those sheets on the floor!! I mean did they even fix my bed?! It was almost how i left my room in the morning! We have been coming here for years! This time in particular was horrible. The price of the room was astronomical compared to past years. The "Continental" breakfast was ridiculous! It was a cold gas station breakfast at best. Our room was musty and smelled like it hadn't been used in years. I was terrible upset with the Comfort Inn. Next year we will go across the street to Tru where the rooms are new and fresh and 75 bucks less a night! read more

We stayed here after a show at the Hershey park stadium. It's located about 30 minutes from Hershey which I did not find reasonable to warrant the high rate we paid. We stayed on a Saturday night and the room cost a little over $100. We arrived around midnight and the gentleman who worked at the front desk was missing for at least 10 minutes until we were able to flag him down outside. He was not apologetic at all. He handed us our key and we asked to not be on the first floor. He said they are sold out and cannot put us on the second floor. I found this hard to believe because the parking lot was nearly empty. I got to the room and I was immediately smacked in the nose by the smell of cigarette. Even though it was a non smoking room it reeked. We complained to the gentleman and he said there is nothing he could do about it. I had a miserable time sleeping in the room because it smelled so strongly of cigarette and it was extremely noisy. Early in the morning I was constantly awaken by the voices of the people next door and the sound of cars being turned on. Unfortunately the walls were paper thin. There were a few good things about the hotel... It's located right off of the highway. The hotel itself is nice looking, especially the lobby. The room was decent looking if you could bypass the smoke smell. The shower had the best pressure I've ever seen at a hotel. They allow pets for only $5. Lastly, the breakfast was great. They had make your own waffles, cereal, donuts, Danishes and even strawberry cream cheese. I would not stay there again based on the terrible stench of cigarette smoke. We stayed at this hotel to visit family nearby on two separate nights in two different rooms. The first room was great and what you'd expect of your typical room. We had a king sized bed with both firm and soft pillows which was a nice touch. There were a couple of chairs and surprisingly a small fridge and microwave! I realized shortly after that I had forgotten my razor at home, and the front desk was more than happy to supply me with one. The second night we came back we stayed in a King room again and it was HUGE!!! The size was great, but it was right next to the steps and the door leading outside, so we could hear people going in and out all night. We just turned on the air, and had the volume up on the tv, so it wasn't a huge ordeal by any means. The best things about this place were the small touches. When you walk into the lobby they have lemon water waiting for you, and fresh delicious cookies at the desk. When you turn around they have coffee and hot water with various tea packets and hot chocolate. I love that stuff when traveling. Other notable things: The pool was great, plenty of seating and towels. There are travel brochures in a couple different spots to help you find other things to do nearby. And finally, the breakfast... I wish that I could just have all that food catered in to me daily. They had eggs and bacon with the option to make your own waffles. There was cereal, bagels, pastries and juice. There was pretty much a little bit of everything. The final touch, the staff... they were great both nights. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. I felt as if I'd known them prior to my visit. When we visit family again in the future, we will definitely be staying at the Comfort Inn. read more

Comfort Inn Denver is thee place to stay when in the Adamstown area. It is ten times better than any hotel in town. We stayed in room 207. The beds are very comfy. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is certainly satisfying for that level of a hotel. The staff is also very friendly. However, I must make note that there were no tissues or tissue boxes anywhere in the entire room or even the bathroom. Also, there were many kids running around the hotel at night and were loud even though it was before the quiet hours. Anyway, this is the place to stay read more

The majority of our stay at this hotel was very nice. The hotel is clean with comfortable beds. The fact that they are dog friendly is fantastic. Most of the staff are very nice and accommodating. I would have given a 5 star rating if it were not for our interaction with the manager, Joanne shonsky. When we tried to present our yelp 15% coupon we were told "I will not accept this coupon." When asked why she simply said it is not a valid coupon. She was quite rude, never apologizing for any miscommunication, and even blaming us for not presenting the coupon upon checkin. Overall a great experience, however this last interaction has left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

This hotel's location is great. Right off of freeway and close to Hershey Pennsylvania. The room had a nice size, but unfortunately I had a horrible stay. I had asked to be put on the second floor and in a no smoking room. I was in first floor, and the smell of cigaret had closed my throat four hours later. When I arrived very late after driving for hours, I had to wait at least 20 minutes for the person in front office to show up! He had marked me as no show, even though I had it in my reservation I would be getting in late. He was very rude about me waiting for my key, after I had gone in and saw how bad the room smelled again very rudely he told me that they were sold out. There was nothing he could do for me. I asked to get reimbursed for my room, he said they don't do that! I left the manager of the room two different messages with the front desk and did a follow up call on Monday when she was to be back at her job. But never any corespondent from them! The room cost me $105, again I feel had I slept the few hours in a rest area I would have been better off. But I must give them credit for a good pressure in the shower, and the breakfast was very well done. They had very nice waffles, also was the first time I saw donuts included in their layout! The breakfast room was indeed packed with guest, but they were doing a nice job filling out the dishes. read more

I cannot believe that even now in 2015 we have to deal with racist nonsense. While staying here for a football tournament an altercation occurred, our team was not involved but our coaches were called to speak about the situation and the first thing that comes out of one of the staff members Dave Reese's mouth was "The colored boys..." astonished a coach asked him to repeat what he had said and he simply said the boys in correction. From the moment we walked in, the front desk had a negative attitude. The staff at this place was atrocious. After my husband had a discussion with the front desk manager and after I had resolved the problem at checkin when we initially arrived, he then tried to approach her and apologize in and calm and kind manner . She then proceeded to scream at him at the top of her lungs like he was her child . Your staff should never ever speak to a customer in that manner, especially when he was trying to calmly apologize and diffuse the situation.. But of course your manager would've known that if she let him get a word in !! She didn't even let him speak . And then they try to justify it in their ridiculous and nasty responses to my reviews by blaming it on my husband . I have never in my 32 years living have seen such insane behavior. We then proceeded to send the video of the manager screaming in my husbands face (because you better believe he recorded it) and we sent it to privilege choice hotels . They gave us a free two day stay at another hotel after agreeing with us that the staff acted disgustingly. If you feel like getting yelled at like children for having an opinion and then try to apologize like a decent human being, this place is for you ! This place lacked professionalism and common human decency. The Company you work for ultimately lost money because your staff is poorly trained. Yikes, embarrassing. And I'm sure under this you'll try to spread your lies and make excuses for acting like animals. Don't waste your time, tired of reading your gross lies. If you were there and honestly saw what went down, you wouldve been appalled . They even went as far as to lie in their last review saying the people who checked in after us said " I'm sorry you have to deal with people like that " lmao ! This hotel was amazing especially compared to the other options around town! The pool was absolutely spectacular and crystal clear clean! The continental breakfast was delicious! With eggs, bacon, belgian waffles, pastries, oatmeal, and a plethora of other options; it was as if we were at a breakfast buffet. When it came to the hotel room, SPOTLESS! We rented the event room they have on first floor for my daughter's baby shower. It was a great location for both sides of the family coming from opposite directions. The facility was very clean and obvious that it is well cared for. I can't speak to the room quaility as no one in our party stayed over. The staff went out of their way to make it nice for us when we had additional requests. They were fantastic to deal with. We will definitely use this place again! read more

Stayed here recently for a youth girls soccer team tournament. As we are a travel team, we stay in many hotels in many states. I have to say this was one of the best hotels for our team and parents. Our club had two teams staying at this hotel, and from what I could see there may have been other sports teams staying at the same time. The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the layout of this hotel was most accommodating. As you enter the hotel, adjacent to the front desk is a spacious lobby/computer service area. They have a spacious breakfast/ bar area and the best part is they offer a 80 seat banquet room area, which allows outside catering. Both of our teams/families were able to use this room for our team dinner, and it made our night! The outside pool area in season is spacious and relaxing, and adjacent to the pool is a hidden, yet beautiful outdoor patio with picnic tables (with a roof) for outdoor gatherings overlooking beautiful country side views. Location of the hotel is great, very close to Adamstown and all the antique stores. We spent there 2 nights (sat-mon). Room looked great and was pretty spacious. We were assigned room 140 on the first floor, which was very noisy being located right next to the laundry room, maids station room and ice machine. In the night we we're unable to sleep due to noises from both washing machines and ice machine, not to mention when you flush the toilet it sounds just like the one on the airplane. On Sunday we left the hotel around 8.30am after pretty good breakfast which was served by the hotel and didn't return until 4.30pm. At the time we were informed by maids that they didn't have a chance to get to our room yet. We figured it wasn't a big deal but then afterwards discovered somebody got to our room since all the towels were gone but no replacement was left. Second night was not much better than the first, with ice machine being noisy. And when I got up on Monday morning I discovered that something had biten me overnight, I had 4 huge red bumps on my neck and face - not a mosquito bite. Not sure what it was but we will not be staying in this hotel ever again. read more

We stayed here recently and were very impressed by several things. The rooms were well appointed, smelled fresh and everything was in excellent repair. Our reservations were for 2 nights. The soon as we turned off the TV and went to bed, I heard what I thought was thunder, and thought I felt the room shake. After a few times, I got up to look outside, the noise and vibration is because the end of the Hotel were our room was, the PA turnpike was rolling by. Quite a bit of noise. Friday night was otherwise quiet. But Saturday there were doors slamming and people arguing outside. The rooms are very nice, but not soundproof at all. Great area and the Hotel is extremely close to all the Antique shops. The small "extras" in the rooms did not go unnoticed. Great nightlight in the bathroom. Built in charging station. Frig and Microwave in the room. Very clean and linens were in great shape and smelled very fresh. We would stay again, but we would request to be at the opposite end of the turnpike. read more
