Being in construction, I thought I would mention that the electrical contractor appears to have installed the receptacles upside down ( all of them ) but the desk clerk seemed to give me that "know-it-all" look. Very unprofessional rules. They charge money for late check out, for early check in and the fire alarm went off and kept shrieking for 10 minutes at 9 PM, so no early sleep. They said that someone was vaping, then to top off the alarm nightmare, they set it off again for 1 minute at 9:30 AM to make sure everyone was up. Very bad experience. With all the other hotels available, I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel. Stay at your own risk. read more

Per the conversation with your clerk, when I called on 8/18/2025 to inquire about the additional charge I was told it was because of a broken microwave. For the record, I did not use the microwave in room 221 during my stay. I called corporate and was told to contact you about this matter. I contacted you directly, and you stated you had video showing I destroyed the video, and you would send it to my email address. I am disputing this charge on my American Express card, because I am not responsible for the alleged damage to your microwave. As a loyal customer to the Comfort Suites Hotel Organization, I will no longer seek the use of this hotel chain. I am a very disappointed loyal customer, and it is a shame you can charge customers additional charges just because. Per your statement you are renovating your hotel, I am happy for you, however, loyal customers should not bear the expense. Room smelled horrible of mildew. Not super clean There were tweakers in the parking lot and some staying at the hotel. They were In and out of their rooms, talking loudly in the hallways all night long. At one point, one was laying in hallway with a wire trying to break into the room across the hall for from 3am -4am. Did not feel safe because of this behavior inside or outside. Pets are allowed so we also heard dogs barking. read more

We were traveling through yesterday and stopped here for one night. There aren't many options in this town unfortunately. The appearance of the hotel when you first walk in doesn't seem bad, seemed clean but when we got to our room it smelled strongly of cat pee, And the hallways were hot. We called the front desk, they had us come down, quickly got another key, and went up to our new room. It didn't seem horrible until I started looking around the the room that it was not very clean at all! They were plastic pieces from tags, dirt in the bathroom, and appliances scratched up. But we didn't have any options so we went to dinner, came back and turned in early. The AC was not cold and woke up in the night at 2:30 AM and it was so hot in there I could not sleep. I tried adjusting the comfort levels and it was not getting any better. Once I was up I realized I could hear a man in the room next to us snoring so loudly. I do not recommend staying here unless you have no other options! Also over priced for this property. read more

Clean rooms, filling breakfast, and a friendly staff helped set this Comfort Inn above the other hotels I visited during a recent road trip. This hotel left enough of an impression on us that we actually made it a point to reach it during our return trip. The stand out worker was Greg, who presided over the full breakfast spread each morning. He somehow managed to keep every section completely full, even with a busy group of travelers moving through the dining room. I swear that he was able to anticipate my choices, and had replacement pastries in hand the moment I placed something on my plate. He managed not to be intrusive, just *there* somehow. The hotel is a bit more than an hour away from the Gateway Arch, so a good place to stop for the night if you are coming from the west. We were able to rise, have a tasty breakfast, (waffles, eggs, sausage, and pastry) get gas next door, and make it to the Arch just as rush hour ended. Staying at the Comfort Inn helped us start our day with a smile. read more

This is the first time I've ever written a review for /anything/, but our stay at the Comfort Inn has prompted me to say a little something. Two Words: Uncomfortable Inn Upon first glance the room was "eh, ok. This will do." It was kind of an emergency travel situation bringing us here, and we were desperate. We eventually noticed that there was dirt (or what we think was dirt.....) on the walls, stains on the lampshades, etc. Whatever. Continental Breakfast ends at 9am. How incredibly convenient.....But eh, beggars can't be choosers right? The real issue was the faulty AC. The air in our room(s) -we actually stayed in two-felt reminiscent to an indoor swimming pool and the musty smell was unbearable. Soupy, even. Every piece of clothing we brought with us (clean and tidily packed in our bags) all became damp. It was disgusting. Also, you are unable to open the windows. After a few days of being stranded in Sullivan this became unbearable. We switched hotels because of it. Long story short, this *Comfort* Inn was anything but and you can stay at a cheaper/cleaner option down the road. read more

I was in town for a wedding and options in Sullivan are fairly limited. This hotel was ok for a night. Parking was limited and those arriving after 9 pm had no place to park. A truck and trailer and a Uhaul had parked sideways and taken and total of 8 spots. When I mentioned this to the desk clerk, she just looked at me. I was fine as I had taken the last spot, but the people coming in after me were not happy. Be sure to ask for a room on the end away from the highway. The end I was in sounded liked trucks were driving through the room, all night long. read more

I stayed here on July 20th, checked out on the 21st. Once I arrived home I was looking at my credit card app and seen they had charged me 250 dollars! When calling they told me it was because my room had ashes in it and smelt bad of smoke. I don't smoke and either does my boyfriend who stayed with me. DO NOT STAY HERE! They may try charging you with false accusations! I called corporate and hopefully I will get my 250 dollars back. If I could give negative stars I would. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel and I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. read more

Yesterday night I was looking for a room to crash after a day of packing and loading for moving. I was driving from Illinois to Texas, and decided to stay in this hotel as it had good reviews, and it was located near highway. I used Hotels.com app to pay for a standard room at $109. They offered Free breakfast, Parking, and WiFi; 3 things I always look for in a place to stay. When I got near this hotel, the parking seemed full, so I drove into the entrance driveway and parked my car. I walked up to the reception to pick up my room keys. A white blonde in her 30's was at the reception desk. The moment I walked-in, she stares at me with sharp eyes. And scans me from top to bottom and turns her head down to the paper she was looking. That's it, I knew I was set up for a disappointing evening. As she was serving others ahead of me, I waited behind them. After some time came my turn. I walk up to the reception desk, and wish her. She replies with a "Hi" but makes no eye contact. I mention my name and told her I have a booking for tonight. She asks for my ID with a military grade tone. I Reached out to my pocket, pulled out my license, and gave it to her. She picked it, and starting checking something on a computer placed on her right side. Then after she was done with checking, she dropped my license on reception desk, pretty much throwing it back to me; as if she doesn't care. I felt bad. I knew this behavior was not acceptable. It wasn't something that will kill me, but definitely not expected in a professional setup. Because how you handle others property shows how much you respect them. I wondered if her careless behavior was due to lack of training or attitude or dis-interest. Next, she continued in her military tone and next asked for my credit card to put hold incase of any damages. I gave her my credit card, and also signed a document. She announced my Room number and gave the room cards, and informed about the breakfast timings. Since I was looking for WiFi, I flipped the cards she gave me and found a line with "WiFi: 63828". I wondered if the number 63828 was a WiFi name or password, and when I asked her "what about the WiFi?". She again replied in her military grade tone "that's the WiFi code". By this time, I was used to her military grade tone. Though I had no idea what a WiFi code was, I was afraid to ask more questions as it could trigger her anger. I was way too much tired for any confrontations, hence decided to play along, and walked back to my car. Coming to the hotel itself. I was satisfied with the Hotel infrastructure. It seemed like a newly built hotel that was well kept. The dark colored carpet on the corridor floors was crisp, clean and had pleasant aroma of lint. Luxury was overflowing in every item in the hotel room. Beds were decorated in full white color bedsheets. The room had a pleasant smell. Also, in the morning the complimentary breakfast fast mouthful and delicious. Most food seemed like freshly prepared. read more

Good price for one night, easy check in at 8pm. We purchased a king but when got to room we had 2 queens. We were too tired to complain after a long flight and a drive. Beds were comfortable. Room a little musty but not bad. Space decent. Real winner was the big breakfast that was included with our stay. Highly recommend. Had a nice Belgian waffle. Location is right off highway near a Cracker Barrel. Felt secure with location. read more

On Feb 1st , I stayed at this hotel for 1 month , The employees entered my room unlawfully and my Rolex watch was stolen while I was at work. I requested for the surveillance but unfortunately the Hallway cameras are not working . I informed the management about this but nothing was done , everything was to no Avail. They re refusing communication with me. WARNING; Before booking a room at this hotel, Please verify that their cameras are working and keep all your belongings with you before heading out. Bed was very firm and uncomfortable and the heater in our room seemed to have a mind of its own and only worked off and on. We were freezing most of the night. To top that off we had an adjoining room with someone else who had their alarm go off at 0530. After an hour of it blaring through our adjoining doors I called the front desk to check on it and please get it shut off. Vernon (the night manager) told me he would take care of it. 20 minutes later is was still blaring. So I got dressed and went to the front desk. Apparently Vernon's shift ended at 6:30 and all he did was call up to the room to see if anyone would answer. They obviously did not. So then Vernon left for the day and apparently that was his way of "taking care of it". The woman now behind the desk told me all of this and then said she would send someone up to see what was going on. By this point the guest in the next room with the alarm blaring decided to wake up and finally shut the alarm off. Will never stay there again. read more

Had a great stay here, service was very professional and speedy. Rooms were very nice and modern as well. Experience was great, only 2 things I would change would be more attention to detail when cleaning the bath rooms, long hairs and soap scum all over the shower. I also mistakenly expected an indoor pool to be heated, which it wasn't so the water was frigid. read more

Very nice like-new hotel. Very clean and fancy entrance with good breakfast. The walls were so paper thin we could hear the room next to us partying all night and watching tv, also kids were running through the halls. Pool was nice but the hot tub smelt like rat. Bed was comfortable but that was about it. Room smelled musty and dirty. The front desk gave us a bottle of room deodorizer but it didn't help. And they have windows that don't open, so we were stuck. Also, my husband had bites over his arms in the morning. And all they have around the area is fast food restaurants, no place to sit and relax with a good meal and a glass of wine after driving all day. On our cross-country road trip, we decided to stop for the night in St. Louis. However after calling around to multiple hotels and getting a no vacancy response, we decided to hope for the best and got off the 44 at the next exit, which happened to take us directly to this Comfort Inn. We were greeted by a friendly desk attendant, who gave us the good news that they had rooms available. She was nice and helpful in describing the restaurants in the area. This hotel is conveniently located next to multiple restaurants within walking distance, as well as a gas station and quick access to the interstate. When we got to our room, we were greeted with a slightly off-putting mustard-y smell, but let it go when we realized the room was clean and looks recently updated. Even on the top floor, the wi-fi access is good, and overall we're very satisfied with our stay here! read more

I have stayed here multiple time throughout the years and it seems this hotel just gets better with age. The beds are comfy, there are plenty of electrical outlets, plenty of towels, each room has a keurig, and the free breakfast was great. It is pet friendly but they also have a pet-free floor. I recently stayed here 3 nights and have no complaints. read more
