The cozy ambiance from the front door into the various dining salons captures your attention as you are shown to your table by the owner Pascal. The gastro experience begins with a cocktail and wine selection that matches any Paris restaurant. The regional cuisine is prepared with a contemporary flair. I highly recommend the scallops. I generally eat gluten free and the chef accommodated my pallet while not sacrificing selection and flavor from appetizer to dessert. We visited Le Bouchon in the early spring but I would love to be at the restaurant in the summer dining in their outside garden. To Pascal and her family I thank you for the most memorable dining experience in Nantes at Le Bouchon.

We chose the the 5 course meal for dinner. All presented like fine art work and tastes Devine. Next arrived a gorgeous perfectly carved piece of monk fish marinated in sugar and salt sided by purple and orange carrots in rice vinegar and horseradish .For the next course a gorgeous , tender fillet mignon of pork arrived accompanied by bok Choi, and other exotic root vegetables in fine sauce of ginger together with some amazing mushroom - mustard (!!). Just sublime. For a last course - our table was presented with pineapple sorbet ice cream . As for my gluten free dessert- as I can't eat gluten (the entire meal was originally free of gluten!): a fantastic nougat Ice cream filled with glazed pistachios and berries!
