And give me a break with the drink selection.... If I wanted grenadine or imitation rose's lime mixed with some vodka and pineapple juice, I'd go to a college party and not spend €8 per drink. Check came around and we were promptly reminded "this is the bill without tip- do you want to tip?" No. That was the most horrible Customer Experience EVER! Food is inconsistent. Yesterday kids spaghetti served with no cheese. Today there is cheese. Fries were cold. When paying $3000 to stay at this resort, it ought to be top notch service and experience.

Code Bar put us in for three drinks each. Astonishingly, the bar is running with no menu. I'm sure they could make the classics, but we just told them what we wanted - something served up, a short or a long drink, or any combination of fruity, dry, smooth, acidic, or dairy-forward. No matter what mixture of flavor notes and finishes we threw, they delivered. And they adjusted drinks to our request as we sipped. The mixologists' English is great, too, so don't worry about not being understood.

We had just finished our day at Europa-Park when we realized we needed to worry about where to get…read morefood. I say worry as a member of our party has some hard-to- accommodate allergies (gluten, lactose, onion, garlic) naturally, we had looked for about an hour and a half trying to find something - anything that would work. We realized after a while that maybe just a burger patty would be okay because at least it was something... and maybe ask for extra lettuce to use as a bun (if you've been to in-n-out they do this) so we gave this place a try. After speaking to the kind woman to take our order and explaining the allergies, she immediately offered to go a lettuce wrap around the meat... without us needing to ask!! She was so kind and understanding of the allergies and was beyond helpful, going immediately to the cooks in the back to explain the concerns after ordering. Our meal was so delicious. I had their schnitzel as I don't have any allergies and it was incredible. My friend, who does have the allergies, said that it was the best food he's had in a while, quite possibly the best burger he's ever had. He couldn't stop talking about it all day - if you have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend going.
