I went to common bond because I was in the area. Had a taste for something sweet. I'm glad I went, they had happy hour with half off pastries. I got a lemon glazed cookie which was amazing. Also a loaf of sourdough that made great breakfast sandwiches the next morning. Also got a confetti cookie and brownie. Very happy with every selection and pleasantly surprised that all of this was half off.

Why 5 stars? Because there wasn't much not to like! --- --- --- My wife had a hankering to visit Common Bond and this was the closest location to us. I'd been to one in Houston before, but just for coffee, but I had a good experience there, so I was down to try their food. There were a ton of great sweet and savory options on the menu, so ordering was a challenge, but we ended up grabbing a pretty big combination of both types of sustenance. Savory: I ordered the breakfast burger and it was really great. Normally I feel like an egg takes away from the flavor of a burger, but that was not the case here. I'm really pleased with my choice here, despite the temptation to go with several alternatives. 5-stars. My wife ordered the soft scramble, and I'll give it this: it was most definitely the softest, most gentle collection of eggs I've ever eaten. But I think I like my rendition of scrambled eggs better. 4-stars. Sweet: Pistachio Croissant: All boxes checked. 5-stars. Snickerdoodle Cookie: I offer all of my praise for this delight. 5-stars. Gingerbread whoopie pie: It wasn't called a whoopie pie, but that's what it was. Like the snickerdoodle cookie, I'm mad I had to share this. 5-stars. Coco-nut cookie: We thought this was a chocolate coconut cookie, but it turns out it was chocolate and nuts. Knowing this information, we would have opted for one of the other, more delicious looking cookies. It was still fine though. 3.5-stars. Drinks: I ordered the dragon fruit berry concoction with my meal, and in a rare moment of weakness, I couldn't resist the maple pecan cold brew, despite ordering black coffee 99% of the time. I'm here to say I enjoyed both of them very much, but the latter did taste more like a milkshake than a coffee. 5-stars for both, but I would definitely order the dragonfruit thing again. Way to go, Common Bond. Here I thought you were just a coffee place this whole time, but your food is pretty, pretty good too.

The lemon pistachio tart was pretty and thick. I really chose it because it had a tiny daisy decoration. The tart base was layered with pistachio spread, fluffy cream and a lemon curd filling.

Was here for work and we happened to come to Common Bond as a meet up place for breakfast. Food takes a little bit to come but generally pretty quick when you get there avacado toast. Eggs benedict takes a lot longer so plan accordingly. Coffee and lattes seem to come quickly since the barista is decent and they have great service. Definitely worth the time if you have 30 minutes to spare to sit and have breakfast.

We saw this place when we went to gingerbread houses. Stopped in for sweet treat. It was all so good looking. We will be back to try the actual food menu but they looked like they had lots of options. Service was ok they brought half our order and we had to ask about the other half they forgot but still over all very nice quick service.

Very cute bakery at City Place! Everything was fresh and tasty. We got a box of pastries, and our top favorites were the supreme croissant, cookie, and fresh scone. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the items there!

I love, love this place! I always say I'm going to try something different but if it ain't broke don't fix it so I had the Texas BLT again. It was amazing, as always! I took a friend for her first time and we split it which was plenty for two with potato chips as a side. The amount of smoked turkey, crispy bacon, avocado and other amenities all come together perfectly. We also got a chocolate chip cookie which had big yummy chunks in it. (Wish we could have warmed it up a bit. )

We were having a mediocre experience at a nearby establishment and decided to look for somewhere else to enjoy a few drinks. We came across this place by chance and boy was it great!! Why didn't we come here to begin with?! We weren't ordering food, so we made our way to the small bar. We were immediately greeted and told we could order drinks there, no problem! The bartender was super friendly, explained the mimosa prices and flavors and made us feel very welcome. Very attentive and helpful, she didn't mind answering our questions as it was our 1st time there. We started with a mimosa flight, which includes four mimosas of various flavors. We then chose our favorite and ordered a carafe. The pricing is definitely on point. Overall, very clean. Definitely a cute place to brunch with friends. We didn't get to try any food because we had just eaten at the other establishment, but are definitely returning soon to try some of their eats! Get the mimosa flight! You won't regret it!!

My book club met at Common Bond recently and this time I tried something new for breakfast. The strawberry French toast was delicious. Got a side of scrambled eggs, which was cooked to perfection. Also got a chai latte, which I've had before. The manager and all the staff provided excellent service. It was a busy Sunday morning but it was still great for our group to discuss our book.

Stopped by for brunch and it's a cute spot. They have outdoor/indoor seating with easy free parking. I got the breakfast tacos and the $3 mimosa flight. The tacos were good, the side of beans that came with it could've used some seasoning though. I mainly came to try their mimosa special, they were out of some flavors so I got 2 hibiscus & 2 traditional ones. The waiter accidentally made my flight twice so that was a total of 8 mimosas. I drank 6 and felt nothing! I had to take a star off for that. I usually feel a buzz after 2 and cut myself off at 3 so the fact that I drank 6 and felt just fine makes me feel like they must be watered down. That was my fear when I saw how cheap they were. Overall everyone I encountered was really nice but I don't think I'd be back as my main interest were the mimosas.

Great and friendly service. I love this spot! Great place to do work or chat with friends. The brunch here is yummy and the pastries are even better!

Was looking for a place to meet up with book club buddies and Common Bond was the perfect place! They had a variety of options from pastries and coffee to cocktails and full meals. They also had a surprisingly good special on mimosas - glass for $1, flights for $3, & carafes for $5. The staff were very nice and provided good service as well.

Was the frosé removed from the menu?

Is this new? Is it the same as the one in downtown?

Yes, it's new in Spring. It offers the same, exact croissants, custom cakes, cookies, etc. as the original cafe in Montrose. The layout seating is different than Montrose. There's also a bar seating area that serves alcohol at this Spring location.

I do not like most mushrooms and didnt know this before coming but I still liked the coffee, as it seemed a little less heavy than traditional coffee for some reason. They have a decent food selection consisting of pastries and house-made latin/american dishes ranging from homemade chips and guacamole to Chilequiles. Note that all food is either vegetarian or vegan. The theme of the place is artisenal Latin/Mexican. If you dine in, you will receive your cold drink in a tall ceramic mug/cup most likely in an Aztec/Mexican style, while the hot drinks will be served in a mug and the food is served on festive plates. They play light Latin music in the background. They don't really advertise their syrups if you come in for an iced latte like me, but basically any of their artisanal coffees can be made iced or cold and you can choose from any of those ingredients/syrups in those choices to flavor your own custom latte. I also added a slice of banana bread from the pastry case adjacent to the register. The alchemist - a pretty light tasting latte with obvious notes of cinnamon. I liked it. Banana bread - more like a triple slice of bread. Its gluten free and very dense. A little on the dry side, obviously. Overall, I can see why they're highly rated. A must visit if you want to try some of the best coffee woodlands has to offer.

I was recovering from a cold so I decided to order a hot herbal tea and was happy to see that they had such a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. My friend also got one of their lattes and we couldn't resist getting a tiramisu before leaving. Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I'm not sure how pack this place usually gets because I came at an off time ( like 1 pm), but they had a good amount of tables and seating available. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.
