Sophia has delivered two of my babies now. I would not go anywhere else. Cynthia was such an amazing help throughout my pregnancy. Sonia during my birth was beyond helpful. This is literally the dream team every birthing person needs.

While I was sad Hannah had taken a leave, we loved working with Cynthia's new partner Sophia just as much.

Now, in West LA, my new post offers an excellent PPO plan. And now I'm back with excellent care. Our initial visit was a virtual video. I didn't have any pressing medical concerns; I just wanted to check in. My medical records were en route to Sutter. It is difficult to find confidence and trust in your medical provider. My primary care physician of record is often too busy to see quickly, which is why I first saw Ms. Petreas. For well over a year, she has been my care provider of choice: I have a very complex medical profile (I'm permanently disabled) and she takes how ever much time is necessary to discuss current issues, she provides expert counsel (in collaboration with physicians when necessary), she is exceptionally responsive (medication prescriptions and renewals, lab tests, responding to my calls/messages/emails) and is even proactive. I trust her implicitly and am extremely thankful for every aspect of care she has provided me. I'm a bit concerned about this review because I want her to remain as readily available as she always has been, but feel duty bound to give her my highest recommendation, which she so deserves. (Note: I have only written a couple of Yelp reviews, so my initiative to write this review evinces my great appreciation for her services.) With great sincerity, B. Gottlieb Patient

And an outstanding doctor!…read more I made an instant connection with her the first time I met her: she is an excellent listener, asks very good questions, is well-connected, and a superior team-builder. When I came to her I had just finished up with several bouts of pancreatitis - very painful. Three doctors before her had left medical practice during a period of intense change for physicians. I asked her to promise me she would not leave; a rediculous thing to ask but just to say how scared and desperate I felt. I am now older and need more specialists, but she has been with me to help build that team. She is incredibly smart and has diagnosed a number of my situations just by listening to my descriptions (and then getting confirmation). She is kind... so kind. And she tells the truth. I am not afraid of dying, but I really don't like loss of control. Which means having a doctor who is honest with me and treats me like a partner in addressing my medical concerns. I hope Nina will remain my doctor for the rest of my lifetime...

Great multitasker too - as she took notes, she pointed the screen at me so that I could see what she was doing, and she gracefully kept up the conversation. After I disclosed my discomfort around giving blood, she revised her plan to try and get as much done with only one blood draw. Dr. McCune also gave me some tips on how to handle the blood draw. Unfortunately I still passed out like a light, but we were well prepared and the staff in her office were incredible. Dr. McCune's medical assistant, Brittany, was also very kind and attentive. We had great conversation and she put me at ease during one of the shots. Unfortunately my appointment did start 45-60 minutes late that day (not sure if this occurs frequently), but in general I have heard all doctor visits often start late. I'll certainly be back! Highly recommend.

When I see her and have periodic health concerns or questions, she always takes the issues seriously, and she's able to put them in context of my overall health. She has also helped me see how far I've come in the past 5 years. Dr. McCune is the only physician at Sutter that I've stuck with for this long, and I'm grateful to be her patient!

Castro Valley Dr. gave her antibiotics and she was better in two days. The lack of compassion for the patient and families needs is very costly with our experience with Berkeley Urgent Care. Listening to the patient is key to a successful relationship for good health and it doesn't seem to be happening in Berkeley. Another incident at Berkeley Urgent Care happened when I went in with what I thought was shingles and they sent me to the ER for an abdominal exam. The minute I arrived at the ER and went through triage, they spotted the small rash and said it was shingles instantly. Berkeley Urgent Care blew me off and sent me to the ER and cost me $6k.
