This is an interesting spot for a community book box. It is located right across the street from the Salina Public Library, next to a bus stop that serves the Saline County Commission on Aging. A brown wood box that is not painted but does have a sturdy shingle roof. The single door opens easily to reveal a single shelf of books. Just five books in there, all worn paperbacks that include some thrillers and the great Hunt for Red October. Nothing that I wanted to take with me today and I don't have any books to leave.
