I have been a part of several churches over many years and this very new church really seems to understand the mission Jesus gave to his followers! From the second you approach the parking lot you are greeted with loving people who are actually excited that you've arrived! I've never seen anything like it! When you go inside, every area is clearly thought out very well, and the execution is nearly flawless! I'm a pretty simple person, so I don't like having to figure much out when I visit a new place. This church has taken all of the guesswork out of "where to go and what to do" on Sundays! There are so many great helpful volunteers and clear signs. I don't think it would be possible to get lost here! My wife and I trust VERY VERY few people with the care of our daughter, but we, from day one, because of the procedures in place, felt very comfortable allowing our daughter to participate in the children's programs. That was HUGE for us! Somehow, though, our daughter didn't become a "number" to them. They know her, and all the kids. In fact, our family just received a personalized care package from the children's program to keep our daughter busy while we are all in quarantine! I heard several of our friends received the same! WHAT!!! The coffee is always fresh, and if it isn't the team brews a new pot! The bagels are delicious, and plentiful! I also love that they "advertise" what local businesses they got the bagels and coffee from. They aren't just a church in the area, they are a church that is an active part of the community! The music is outstanding! The musicians take their positions very seriously, and you can hear it. The songs are relevant and sound like something I'd listen to even if I wasn't at a church service. The messages are outstanding! Every message has been relevant to my life. What's more, the messages take what could be very complicated concepts and presents them in a way that is easy to understand and digest. Don't read that as "basic", read it as "accessible for everyone". Pastor Lou has said on many occasions that "we are a church for people that don't go to church" and that is so true! You don't need to be a church going person to feel comfortable here. In fact, I know a lot of people who have never gone to church, or have really disliked the idea of going to church, who love coming and hanging out on Sundays! It's a great environment for the whole family! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 their services are only online right now. However, they are going above and beyond with the production of the Sunday videos. They have games and "easter eggs" in the videos, they still present an amazing production, and they have used this time to focus on how they can reach out to the community. From the time you step out of your car the people there are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I couldn't believe the hospitality I received once I got into the building, they had free bagels and coffee! The pastor was very interesting and even cracked a few jokes!
