If I could give less than one star I would. Steve over at Community communications has handled my businesses web page for over 20 years. He has always been a bit difficult but what transpired over the last 3 months just boggles my mind as a business owner. My annual payment was due on April 1st but I sent it out 7 days late through my auto pay. I even called and left a message. A few days later I was getting comments from my customers that the website was down. After checking myself, it showed "website suspended". At this point I was furious. I called and spoke to Steve Manson and he admitted taking my site down. I lost my temper because I just couldn't believe after 23 years he'd take it down for being a few days late. He accused me of not wanting to pay my bills! He said he didn't need my money and to go elsewhere. I had to call several times just to get my check back. They did finally mail my payment back 2 weeks later. After so many years of being a loyal customer Steve still held my business hostage without a website for 2 months! I tried calling numerous times, spoke to Iva and another gentleman several times trying to get my website back up but nobody I talked to would help me. So I started looking for a new web designer. And even after getting a new site ready Steve wouldn't return my calls or my email in regards to domain transfer. Thankfully Iva got it released. I just want people to know what this guy thinks of his customers. Just had my new web site up again with Kieth at Bontra web and couldn't be happier! read more

BEWARE-DO NOT HIRE. If I could give a 0 star I would. The president of the company Steve Mason is very unprofessional. Steve did something I didn't like and when I called him on it and we swapped some emails he actually emailed me saying and I quote " You, on the other hand, are a small -time, second rate magician whose best days are long behind him." Not only have we never met he never saw me perform either but this is that is actually what emailed me. The president of the company Steve Mason also emailed the girl who recommended him (who later said she regretted it because he is so unprofessional and a real douchbag) this is what Steve emailed the person who recommended him " Unfortunately I am going to need to involve you in this legal action as well. According to Phil , you facilitated him switching to another web designer instead of paying for this completed project. There's a term for that -tortious interference in a contract- which is illegal." Cheers Steve Mason. Cheers!! I mean really. He wants to sue the person who gave him the referral. How low does one go for a few hundred bucks? Steve emailed me that he sues 5 clients a year because he is a licensed attorney. I guess I was supposed to be impressed with that. The overall experience was a Zero star. There are more professional designers out there than Steve Mason. read more

Let me start by saying we run a very successful and professional business. We were found by a sales person for community communications who noticed we did not have a website. We agreed that a website would be beneficial and should boost our business. We were promised professional photos and a top notch website that we would not pay for until we were satisfied. Well needless to say we are far from satisfied. The photographer came on a rainy day to take pictures of our work which is done outdoors. We were forced to provided our own pictures because of that. Steve has since been very hard to deal with. Any time we wanted to change something he would tell us he didn't know what to do. When we gave him a folder labeled as the photos we wanted on our home page he still couldn't manage to use them and still continued to tell us he didn't know what ones to use when he was specifically instructed that any one in that folder would work. Now he has been down right nasty. Very intimidating and dragging us to court because we cant sit at his computer and design a website for him. if your looking for someone to design a website for you.
