Parking is pretty open, but can get quite dark at night and there weren't many lights from what I can remember. The church itself is pretty cozy, not too big....probably could hold no more than 200 people. But again, you feel comfortable there. The priest that celebrated mass when we were there with my family was also visiting, so I can't really write about the resident priest. But the rest of the parish community was quite friendly; I'm sure they see a lot of visiting guests. Definitely found my church for the next time I'm here!

It feels like an old New England type of design, with wooden construction and pointed steeple. The grounds are nice with a few parking spots. I think services can take about 30+ people now, considering that every other row is roped off due to covid, in order to honor the park service rules. Even though it's one of the oldest churches in the west, its well maintained with decent amenities. We came for the Christmas Eve candle light service, and it was beautiful! This isn't just some tourist church--Pastor Brent Moore gave a moving sermon on Christ choosing to come into the world for you and me. The worship music and hymns were stirring. I loved that service started at 6pm because most churches start much earlier. It was a really laid back environment and the message was easy to understand. In an area where we live the churches are big 500-1000 people. Visiting this church when on vacation is really cool. You meet the pastor and his family and hear of the great outreaches they do locally and abroad. It's good to meet brothers and sisters outside your living area, it's encouraging.
