If you want anything specialized, say foil or metallics or shine, they have to outsource, which is an additional fee (plus 10 days).
NO GRAPHIC DESIGN ABILITIES: Not a big deal if you just want copies, but if you come in with a design for a flyer or business card that might need a tweak here or there (for their printing purposes, ie: bleed, color correction, portrait vs landscape format) they're incapable of providing the fixes themselves. Files must be perfected to their specifications before submitted for print.
RUDE MANAGER/TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: He belittles his customers and assumes they don't know what he's talking about. I tried working with him, and the further we got into my design, the more he "dumbed things down" for me. I finally had to leave because he wasn't treating me like a client, he was treating me like a child. Which, for a representative of HARDING UNIVERSITY, doesn't give me a good first impression of the school.
Unfortunately, my clients were insistent upon using this printshop. I've been doing this for 9 years and have never been treated so unprofessionally by a printing manager, salesperson, or other associate.
