A different doctor said it couldn't be removed as it was too far into the foot. Dr. Treadwell was fantastic. He had a great bedside manner, and was kind and patient with my FIL. He was able to remove the wire in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend him.

How difficult is to care for your patients with kindness? It was Friday afternoon, and they complained about still having patients. They didn't care if anyone could hear their conversation. Once in the examination room, one of them repeatedly insisted taking more x-rays, even after learning that I had x-rays two days ago. They didn't get the results from my PCP, they said. As I didn't want to be expose to more radiation, I decided to reschedule and come back with my disc of x-rays. However, the assisting staff decided it was ok not to have the x-rays results, and I should wait for the doctor. The doctor was professional and helpful. I wish she had not rushed so much and had recommended something for my nerve pain other than the cortisone shot. I listened to her, and purchased the gel pads in her office in good faith. The space didn't feel clean. The chair I sat on was stained, and difficult to accept sitting on it. Poor air quality despite the AC and smell of old dirty mops.

I was referred to Dr. George Melnik in February 2023 by my surgeon. I found Dr. Melnik to be…read moreknowledgable beyond just his specialty, refreshingly candid and direct, and practical. He explained what was going on and why he was recommending the treatments he prescribed. He is highly intelligent and up-to-date on the latest medical information and research. He also has a bit of a dry wit that I appreciate. His medical assistant and office staff are personable and professional. I got really sick in June and my PCP APRN just wasn't sure so she sent me back to Dr. Melnik. The treatment he prescribed helped but I just couldn't seem to get better so I was just back again. He got right to the root of the (new not continuing) problem. Figured it out with a thorough exam and explained what was going on and how best to treat it. You don't have to like your doctors but it helps. I highly recommend this ENT specialist.
