The firm has been around for over 30 years and while we were there numerous people came in(appointment recommended). outstanding free training on Apple computers. I have never been to a more comprehensive course where everything is answered and it's super personal. They do not push their equipment computers or the wonderful speakers that I fell in love with there. I've been going there for a long time. My girlfriend bought a computer there I go there for advice and I found them to be extremely confident straightforward honest laid-back. The trainings have been suspended due to cover 19 but they pushed it as far as I could. It is a wonderful place with plenty of parking a good clean store with friendly nice people.I have been using Apple computers and products and some 90s. I know quite a bit I had training in California but they always give me probably about 10 things that I don't know in a nonthreatening manner. Absolutely stellar experience. Had to have my logic board replaced and it could not be an easier, smoother, and quicker process. I am in the Sarasota area visiting and my computer died on me and would not charge no matter what. I brought my Macbook Pro up to Computer Advantage at 1pm on Wednesday. Wayne helped me, he was extremely knowledgeable, when he took my system was in touch within a few hours about what was wrong with my system. They had a new board ordered by the end of the day, overnight, and my Macbook Pro was repaired with a full data transfer by 3pm the next day on Thursday. I purchased a MacPro from Computer Advantage about a year ago, needed for business travel and work at home. Excellent piece of equipment and great for travel. I had an awesome experience there. I am a nurse and a student during this Pandemic. My newly purchased iPad stopped charging all of sudden. I called Apple multiple times but nobody was able to help me. I had to use the iPad for school and a lot of school items were saved on the iPad. Of course, I had exams coming up when it decided it was going to stop working. Everyone at the store was super helpful and friendly, especially Eric. A top notch place for Apple service. I had a problem with my MacBook Pro and they determined that it was a bad hard drive. No charge for the diagnosis. I had been contemplating a solid state hard drive anyway so I had them install it. They did it quickly for a fair price. I'm fairly computer illiterate so when I couldn't restore the hard drive from Time Machine, I brought all my gear in and they helped me, again, no charge. I just couldn't ask for anything better. I have a MacBook Pro. It was been a worry free computer and have had it for 10 years. My touch pad quit working I called Apple support and they ran me thru a few resets. After nothing fixed this problem Apple set me up an Appointment with these guys. I arrived on time they had all my information regarding my problem and they began a system check. In the latest iteration, Spencer Blunden deeply researched and solved an issue that even highest Tech level HP couldn't solve (though to their credit, they labored hard as well) -- getting 5k resolution on a 27" HP Z27q monitor, with my MacBook Pro 2015 Retina. Just as I was beginning to think it wasn't workable, Spencer got it working for me. --And for anyone who may stumble across this on a Google search, the solution is simple, and it's the importance of the cable installation order: Turn all machines off, first plug in monitor DP2 to the rearmost Thunderbolt port, THEN plug in DP1 to the frontmost Thunderbolt port. Saturday a.m. my MacBook Pro suddenly went blank with 2 solid days of work in front of me. I went directly to The Computer Advantage Service Department. For more years than I can count, they have been my lifeline on those rare occasions when a) the Mac doesn't work and b) I can't fix it myself. I have used Apple products since before my now mid 30's age children were preschoolers and we had the Apple IIc and the Classic desktop...and many more since. Customer Service is a lost thing which is why having the best Mac customer service department in the universe in driving distance makes me lucky! While I waited they ran some scans to eliminate a problem with the hard drive and the machine itself. Of course it wasn't that it was Software!!! Isn't it always!? They sent me to lunch and called me within an hour and said "it's ready"! When I picked it up they had deleted the security software which I had long suspected was bad and they got rid of some malware. I was able to go home and get a ton of work done. They didn't charge me a lot just a little. Sometimes if it's something stupid they charge almost nothing. Best of all they really care about your machine and you and they walk the walk. I buy every shred of computer equipment and machines in my arsenal from them. They never let me down. And the product doesn't either. If you own a Mac and want to, this little Authorized Apple Dealer is exactly where you should go. And it beats the Apple Store hands down because this is where the real geeks are!!! When I arrived at Computer Advantage I was escorted back to the repair area where my appointment time was prompt and the service person "tested" my phone and told me it was 100%, no problems. I told the technician that the phone looses about 75% of the battery overnight. He told me it was because I had apps running in the background and reiterated the phone was fine. I was anxious about this because I was going out of town and this was my business phone. Technician assured me my battery was fine. Long story short, I had to keep my phone on the charger almost continuously and of course my phone died on Friday, being out of town with no way to call Apple (or even knowing where an Apple store would be) to set an appointment I had to wait until today and went to the Apple store without an appointment 4 to 5 hour wait for service. Bottom line phone replaced under warranty. I would not recommend taking a phone here for service. Maybe they do a good job with other items or maybe it's one of those things like when you take your car for service. Just depends on who your tech is and whether they believe you when you tell them what is wrong. So do yourself a favor when you need Apple service, go to the Apple Store! read more

On vacation from Philadelphia and needed a computer. No Apple stores within a reasonable drive but I found Computer Advantage. So glad I did. Not as frantic as an Apple store but they had all the goods on display and in stock. I am a casual computer user with some business needs. My sales rep spent time answering my questions, giving advice and demonstrating the differences of the machines I was interested in. They didn't pressure me at all, didn't try to bait and switch me or any of the other routines generally encountered when buying a high ticket item. I ended up with the machine I wanted (macbook pro) and felt great about the experience. I absolutely will take a couple of the personal training courses they offer.
