I reached out to Computer Solutions on Wednesday about a possible software issue with an iPad. I was told the diagnostics that would need to be ran would take 30 - 40 minutes and would cost $25 if the iPad wasnt under any type of warranty that would cover it. With the time and cost information given to me, I thought they would have have the iPad done within a few hours or just a day. When reaching out to the company about the progress of the diagnostic the next day, I was told they had products that came in from one of their providers and that took priority the day before, which was fine. Thursday, nobody reached out and their was no update on the diagnostic. Today, I called when they opened and honestly it seemed that they had forgetten completely about the iPad. Luckily, I was able to get the iPad back today, and was told their was no software issue. Slightly annoyed to find that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the device, but it took 2 1/2 days to come to that conclusion. It might have just been bad timing all around, but either way the lack of communication throughout was not appreciated. read more

I was refereed to this location my a person I know. I called because I had a virus on my laptop. I was told the price would be $60-$90 for virus removals by Rhonda, very reasonable in my eyes. So that Monday morning I went to the shop and explained again what was going on with my computer and again was quoted the $60/$90 fee and was told I'd be contacted later that afternoon about the status, no problem. I had not received a call so I called them about 3/4pm that evening. Was told they were still working on it, was going to try not to have to format by hard drive but if they did they would back up my files but will follow up with me in the morning. I said that's fine as long as your are going to back up my files. They then asked me which files I wanted to save...I should have gone and gotten my computer at that time, who doesn't want all there files saved if they was an option, i am thinking to myself, but I said that's fine!? By now they have had my computer for 2 days we are now going on a 3rd day. I was in the middle of an event and really needed my computer but if it was going to be done by Wednesday morning I was just going to deal with it. I called them about 1pm since I had not heard anything and then was told the hard drive they transferred my files to had crashed and all my data was gone! I was like, why had not anyone called me to advise me of this and he was like well I was just about to call you...So I said soooo my computer has nothing on it, and he was like it has windows on it. Things like this happen sometimes. There was no, I am so sorry, nothing from David. SMH. I immediately stopped what I was doing and went done there. I walk in the shop, the manager, Rhonda, was at the counter and I told her my name and she went to go get my computer and the first thing said was, we are not going to charge you!!! Seriously, you guys wiped out my computer and you really thought I WAS going to pay YOU, I think to myself. As pissed as I was on the inside, I remained calm, got my computer and started walking out the door. I was about to get to the door and she says thank you. Now I understand things are done/said out of habit, but thank you, really? For what? I just paused and then walked on out the door, shaking my head. No one said sorry, this hardly ever happens...nothing, to make me feel like they were sorry for loosing all my date. I left felling like it was my fault they messed up my computer. If I would have at least gotten an sincere apology, I would have chalked it up to sh%t happens... But lesson learned, was to make sure I back up my data myself on a regular basis and never return to this shop! read more

Professional and courteous people. The graphics card on my iMac self-destructed. Matt at the shop verified that as the problem with diagnostics. He checked with Apple about possible recalls to help defray the repair cost. There had been but it expired two years ago. So, after determining that I could not get close to replacing what I had for less than or approximately near the repair cost, I requested that Matt fix it. One week later, it's ready.
