I couldn't disagree more with the previous review. I heard about the shop from a friend who is a regular customer and always sings their praise. So when my laptop started playing up, I thought I would go along and see if they could help. As soon as you walk in to the shop you feel instantly comfortable. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, despite the fact that it can sometimes become rather busy on the shop floor. Most importantly, you are not made to feel intimidated in any way. You can ask as many questions, as simple or as complicated as you wish, and the workers are happy to take the time to explain, demonstrate, or compare, in order to help you. I personally have been in to too many computer shops where your questions are met with short matter-of- fact answers designed to make the shop assistant feel superior and leave you feeling stupid. Here I could ask ''how?'' and ''why?" as often as I needed and still get good sound advice and explanation. As six o'clock approached I was expecting to be shuffled out of the shop and told that I needed to come back tomorrow or that they would call me to let me know when I could come back to pick the laptop up. Six o'clock came and went and I was still in the shop and the shop assistant was still working on my laptop. I had mentioned that it was my only free afternoon and he had kindly promised that he'd make sure I could take it with me today regardless of closing time. That kind of service is hard to come by! I left the shop with my laptop and a smile - and without a hole in my pocket! read more
