I love supermarkets - and in countries like France, Italy and Spain the supermarkets are just far…read moresuperior to supermarkets in Nordic countries e.g. Denmark. Even in a quite small city like Ostuni they have have a large supermarket full of delicacies; fresh fruit and veggies, fresh fish, a large variety of meats, cheeses, dairy, nonfood, cereals. Well, basically everything. Prices are just amazing too, especially on specialities. Only flaw; I missed an in-store butcher. Having said that, this store is a pleasant surprise.

It's a very small cafe yet you can smell the feel the essence of an authentic Italian bakery. After a tour and a mile of walked stopped by to have a snack . The baker chef was handing out our snack. Freshly baked focaccia bread with ham and mozzarella cheese stuffing. Wow! This was a filling and delicious delicacy that you have to taste. Overall great experience.
