It draws a large crowd of locals. Generally, a well chosen specialty store will outperform any supermarket. But industrialized groceries are fairly high quality in Italy. So one can do one's shopping here and not do too badly. As it happens, the well chosen specialty stores are somewhat concentrated a quarter of a mile from this CONAD. So this CONAD is in a great position for conveniently serving its neighborhood. I don't live that near here But I made a good haul of canned fish, condiments and cleaning supplies here. If I wasn't walking a distance, and given how much wine I have been cooking with, Making a wine haul would not have been a dumb idea.
