I'll start off with the parking. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center if you get there early enough. The decor was on par with the theme. The place is not big but every inch of this place was decorated. Definitely gave a Halloween vibe. My husband and I wanted to try the food. At the entrance I was told to ask a waitress about a table. Some were reserved already so we waited a little while. Paola hooked us up with a table about 10 minutes later. We ordered our food and some drinks and within 10 minutes we were eating. We ordered some wings a burger and Cajun fries. Everything was delicious and although the drinks are kind of pricey they were delicious. Paola kept checking in on us and once we were ready to close the tab, she got us a high top table by the area where people were dancing. She still would check in on us from time to time and even brought us some water. So shout out to her! The dj played good music and the whole place was vibing. Everyone was having a good time. They played music that made me reminisce of my high school days as well as current music. The only thing I was not to fond of was the bathroom. Only two stalls for the women's restroom and a bathroom for either gender. At times the line would be long. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely go back next year if they do it again.

Luckily, my friend and I had a great time meeting new people (way younger than us) and dancing our butts off. The bartenders were so nice. Loved James. Hes super cool. The signature cocktails (I forgot what I had but it has vodka lol), was actually refreshing. Not overly sweet. Can't say much on food since my friend ordered fries. But otherwise, I hope they bring back more pop-ups (hinting for Xmas theme, guys???)

It has a really fun, hip vibe and would be such a great spot for parties or bigger groups. The food was just as amazing. Their fusion of Mexican and Asian flavors works so well. We ordered two of the chicken sandos and their pork belly fries AND they absolutely hit all the right spots. The chicken in the sandos were crispy on the outside, perfectly juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Oh, and be sure to ask for extra Tim's sauce - definitely worth raving over. What made it even better was hearing that they braise the chicken for hours before it even hits the oil. That kind of attention to detail really shows in every bite. Definitely a spot we'd come back to.

Both are so consistently good. The seasoning and blend of flavors is honestly so on point. The pork belly are those like thick cut style with great chewy texture. Portions are pretty sizeable (fries are easily shareable between 2-3 people). Special hack: share half burrito with fries. Each bite of burrito is paired with a fork-full of the fries with the pico and sauces. EZ MONEY. Since everything is made-to-order don't expect like fast food levels of speed, but that being said it's still relatively quick (think I waited like 11 minutes?) Unless you're willing to buy drinks (they just have bottled/can only so no refills), water isn't the easiest to get since you have to keep asking a worker (they have like a big bottle that they pour water into). ***pro tip: get Baja blast from the Taco Bell right next door :)

My party of 4 each opted for the Omakaze and Akira happily convinced me to get the sake flight. The 9 course Omakaze was the star of the dinner, though the sake flight and the miso braised beef tongue were also a stand out. Chef Makoto had new and different seasonal dishes prepared for us this time, and it was nice that their Ikura Bowl remained a staple on the omakze set. Every dish course was a stunner, but the halibut, chutoro, yellowtail, and amberjack were standouts for me. As last time, the ambiance was quiet as the restaurant is on the smaller side. I've sat at the bar every time so I can't say as how noisy it would be sitting at a table. Making a reservation is highly encouraged but drop ins are welcome. Just understand it's a small place and a small crew!

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!
