French Toast and Cafe de olla latte
    Lissette A.

This place has a lot of mixed reviews. I thought I would give it a try, came here for brunch. And I'm honestly very glad I did, the prices are reasonable and the coffee was very good. I got French toast, and the French toast looks super sweet but it was not sweet at all. It was perfect! I ordered a side of tater tot's and they were so good and crunchy. Also the coffee, I got cafe de olla latte. Super good! Overall the service was great, we didn't wait much maybe because I got there before 1pm? But anywho the ambiance was good nothing too crazy just casual vibes. But overall the presentation from the plates was good.

10/10. Came here for Saturday morning brunch to catch up with a girlfriend. We were seating within ten mins and it was packed inside. Service was great. Food was amazing. We ordered the chilaquiles red and green. The plates were such a huge portion. Can't wait to come back.

Went to have breakfast at conchas cafe with my husband and toddler. The food was really good. We had the breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, churro waffle. Very flavorful and filling. The portions are a great size we even took some food to go. The coffee and lattes were good too. I loved my deuce de leche latte. The cute mugs they give it in is a bit heavy to constantly pick up but the idea is there. I think they are also in the process of training new staff so the service is a little slow but that makes sense. We will definitely be back!

So we found out a few months back that this place was here. We also heard that they had Conchas or Pan Dulce, we arrived and this place was booming! Loving the vibe and the music was good. We ordered 2 Cappuccino's and then we waited..... and waited.... 30 minutes later we get our coffee BUT! It was the wrong order‍. We figured we would probably wait another 30 minutes so the wife said that we should just leave, but we waited and soon after we got our correct order. The Cappuccino was really good! And it was nice being able to sit and drink out of a reg coffee cup instead of the typical to go type of cups. The waitress ditched us afterwards though so we had to get up and ask for our bill. The manager was very nice and we chatted for awhile. Overall I really enjoyed the coffee, hopefully when we come back we won't wait as long.

Got here with some coworkers right when they opened at 0900 on a Saturday, but there were already like six to seven other tables seated, so it looks like they do open a little earlier than 0900. Pretty extensive menu with a lot of different items and drinks. I got the chilaquiles with red sauce and added a steak for a total of $25.00. Everything on the plate was really good, from the chips to the steak, eggs, beans, and potatoes. Loved taking a bite with a little bit of everything in each bite. The portion size was also decent. Service was fast and friendly. My coworkers seemed to enjoy their meals too and they also liked their lattes and their drinks. Place got pretty busy by the time we left. Parking lot is pretty small, so I'm not sure where else you can park if it fills up. Overall, I really enjoyed my breakfast here and would definitely come back if I'm back in the area.

So far the burrito is delicious. Customer service has been great. Already came here about 4 times previously. They're always welcoming. The cafe de leche is my favorite. My sister said the chilaquiles were good. Haven't tried them.

The seating was very nice. There is booths all along the wall. Lots of tv's, but low sound of music. The atmosphere is nice. You order at the counter first and then take your number to your table, which I actually really liked. No one hovering or checking on you every five minutes -- they just drop off your food, bring utensils, and let you enjoy your meal in peace. The conchas were the biggest letdown. They were pretty dry and had that "sat out for a while" texture. We only took one bite of each and left the rest. They're only about fifty cents, so I wasn't mad about the price, but with concha in the name, I expected them to taste way better. The potatoes were a hit -- super well seasoned. The croissant sandwich was delicious. The bread was crazy good and the cheese they use is really tasty. If you don't like a runny yolk, make sure to ask them to cook it through. I swapped the side salad for potatoes for an extra $3. The huevos rancheros had a great amount of spice and everything was cooked perfectly. It was on the greasy side, but honestly, with chorizo involved, that's kind of expected. The honey vanilla iced latte was delicious -- just a light hint of honey. If you don't want a strong honey flavor, this is perfect. The dulce de leche iced latte was also really good and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Overall, solid food with some standout items, but I probably wouldn't go back for the conchas.

Once my date and I came in we we were welcome with a Valentine brunch special and their regular menu. We decided to try out their regular menu and I ordered the breakfast burrito and my date chose the croissant. We also got the banana French toast and I ordered a mimosa and my date ordered a coffee martini. The service was good they will check in when they had to. The ambiance feels like a little fancy jungle. I enjoyed how spacious it is.

Customer service needs improvement. The lattes are pretty and taste great, but the entire vibe is killed when service isn't all that

Hadn't been here in a while and I must say things have improved for the better. Wasn't a big fan of ordering first at counter. They have gone back to a normal sit down style restaurant. The aesthetics have improved since our last visit. We approve of the changes. We were happily greeted and seated. Friendly attentive staff. Our food came out pretty fast for being a busy Saturday morning. My kids shared chicken tenders and a waffle. Nothing but smiles. I had their breakfast croissant and it was really good. Just the right amount of bacon and the eggs cooked to my liking. My wife had their breakfast burrito and she was happy. Brunch is not complete without mimosas. Shared a champagne bottle. Good deal for a couple. Don't sleep on their coffee. We ordered a matcha with strawberry to go. I think it could improve. The flavor reminded us of strawberry quick. Couldn't really taste the matcha. Other than that we enjoyed our experience.

Everything started off well when we arrived at the restaurant, but once our food arrived, my friend found her chilaquiles to be very dry. The waitress refused to bring us a little bit of hot sauce to try--we didn't want a whole liter, just a small amount so my friend could dip her chilaquiles and I could add some to my potatoes and eggs. The bottom line is that we felt a bit ignored; honestly, it's not a place we would return to.

    Sylvia L.

Everything was good. The service, the food, the coffee and concha's provided while you wait to be served. It's an order and pay before you are seated, but adding extras at a later time is easily done. The cafe does get busy, so wait to get inside can be a bit long and the noise is the cafe is a bit loud. Parking may be tough, but there's street parking is lot is full. Definitely worth a try.

As indicated in the reviews, it is inside the Mr. Tempo building. It could have been because we went in on the brunch/lunch part of the day we didn't get the little conchas as indicated by others. Husband and I ordered our food up front, along with a bottle of champagne to make our mimosas to our liking. Food was pretty good all around. Good service and experience.

The sandwich was thick and well-builtbwith corned beef and sourkraut and a slice of Swiss cheese, melting but not melted. I was fine with that. The lunch came on a metal tray, but because I was sharing, our lovely server brought us a platter without me having to ask. You can get your choice of Cole slaw or sweet potato and other possibilities like oni9n rings, but we went with basic fries. I loved that the fries were not presalted, or they were lightly salted, but mom needed to sprinkle more on and she found some black bits made from bad potatoes. 3 of 5. We both loved the lemonade, very refreshing 5 of 5. And while we were disappointed there wasn't any pumpkin pecan cheesecake or key lime pie or pecan pie, we were told they were only special holiday items, we decided on cherry pie a la mode. The pie was hot, but the huge helping if ice cream managed to hold together and not be soup despite the hot cherry pie slice. You can win a to go container of cookies made fresh on the premises....snickerdoodle, chocolate chip etc ...the games are from 4 to 6 pm. And it's hilarious...you bingo in shapes like a 7 or railroad tracks. .this kind of bingo game play was foreign to me. But the host (i think his name was Leo) he came around to every table passing out colored dabber pens and bingo cards...and he showed the pattern on his mobile phone...the host was lively and had all the game equipment to call a legit bingo game. Big-time fun. My mom was delighted, and would have stayed but I had another appointment so we cut out after three games. I actually won one round, but so did another guy, so we went to sudden death, and I lost out on the oatmeal cookies...bummer!! Highly recommend Wednesday at Pollys Pies. Plenty of free parking. Thank you Polly Pies for the good food, great pie, and for the Bingo!! And the friendly staff. My mom and I had a blast.

Unfortunately, the reality falls noticeably short of that expectation. While the food itself is serviceable, it never rises beyond what you might expect from a standard at-home breakfast spread. Nothing on the table felt particularly memorable, inventive, or worth returning for. The biggest disappointment came in the details, but really lack thereof. The fruit served alongside the meal had the unmistakable appearance and texture of pre-packaged, bulk-distributed produce, lacking the freshness and vibrancy you would hope for from a restaurant positioning itself as a neighborhood kitchen. It gave more cafeteria than curated brunch. Service also struggled to meet even basic hospitality standards. Water refills required repeated attempts to get someone's attention, and neighboring tables were similarly left flagging down staff for utensils and tableware. Once the order was placed and food delivered, attentiveness seemed to disappear almost entirely. I'm not sure where the standard is set.. Given the location and atmosphere, there's an expectation of a more refined and welcoming experience, but the execution never quite supports the price point or reputation. If you do visit, avoid outdoor seating unless you're prepared for an even more disconnected service experience. Ultimately, there are far better places to spend your brunch budget. Especially when this is the kind of meal many could comfortably recreate at home with fresher ingredients and more care. If you're going to have competitive price points for these meals they should at least match.
