Get better drivers ! One of your drivers, white female, cannot drive. Sadly I didn't get the plate number or taxi ID. Don't use the company unless you value your life because they're reckless drivers. They don't signal, they cut me and others off, cutting through traffic thus causing MORE traffic. Service is one thing but driving is your job and you can't even do that. Do better ! Update : I guess they will never do better because they're very rude according to the reviews. This cab company has a car that drives down my private driveway almost every morning of the week between 5 and 6 AM. Their driver makes a u turn at the end of the drive where he sits with his headlights shining at our bedroom window. The bright lights are very annoying. The service at this company was BEYOND my expectations, excellent customer service. On Sunday, I tried calling 4-5 different cab companies and this company was the only one that picked up or was able to arrange for a cab to pick me up at 4:30 AM and take me to SFO airport for a 6:40 AM boarding time. The morning of the flight (Monday morning), I received a call at 4:16 AM that the cab was already waiting in front of my house. Although it was pouring rain, that morning, the driver got me to the airport at a reasonable time and I had plenty of time to check in, go through the TSA screening and grab a cup of coffee. I would definitely recommend this cab company to anyone who needs to get to the airport for early flights when Uber/Lyfe and/or public transportations aren't available. read more

I am giving them 1 star, because 0 is not an option. I came across 2 gentlemen helping an elderly man up off the ground from the Safeway Parking Lot on Treat & Clayton. The elderly man was not badly hurt and refused medical attention. He decided to not drive since he didn't feel capable to do so in a safe manner. The two gentlemen and I decided to call a cab for him, since he knew where he was going and had more than enough money to pay for it. I googled a cab company and Concord Cab company came up. I requested time cab for the elderly man and they said it would take 15 Minutes. We made sure the elderly mans was ok and we all went our separate ways, I walked into the nail salon in the same strip mall. 30 Minutes passed and I receive a phone call from the cab company asking where I was and that the cab driver had been waiting for over 10 Mintues. I politely informed them that the elderly man had been waiting at the same bench the entire time, since I can see it from the nail salon. I walked out and the cab driver pulled up with an attitude "I don't get out of the car to help anyone, he needs to get in by himself" "You should have called the hospital, not us" he was rude and inconsiderate of treating someone like a decent human being. I informed him that the elderly man refused medical attention, was coherent and had money to pay for the cab. I asked "Do you want to take him, yes or no?" His response "I'll take him, he's a liability" I and another gentlemen helped the elderly man in the cab with his 2 grocery bags he said thank you and off they went. Less than 5 minutes later I received a call from the can company berating me for calling them. "You created a problem for us" "Why didn't you call an ambulance?" "He needs to be able to get out of the car by himself" "Don't call us for something like this again, thank you" and then he hung up on me. I am in complete disbelief with the way the cab company and the driver handled this situation. I will never use them again and will make sure that I let others know of my experience with them. We live walking distance to BART but it was hot hot hot out and I didn't want to get all sticky. I called for a cab and it was in front of our complex within two minutes. Seriously. The driver must have been around the corner or something. The dispatcher told me ten minutes but I got a call back in two letting me know that the driver was there. Horrible service. I called on a Thursday afternoon to schedule a 5am pick up. The lady on the phone was in such a hurry to take my call she didn't ask for my city. I spelled out the street because she couldn't understand. Didn't take my name or my number. 5:10 am comes around the next morning, no cab. So I call the guy who picks up the phone tells me he'll be here in a few minutes 5:22 I get a call from the driver "I'm outside" I verify the address since I've been standing outside for 30 minutes and there's no one here and of course they have him the wrong street name (even tho I spelled it out). 5:31 Finally my cab gets here. Good thing I allotted 15 extra minutes to my schedule just in case they proved me right about being late. I was really hoping they would prove me wrong. I called for a cab to my residence around 3:30 in the afternoon. I was told the cab would arrive in 10-15 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes for the cab and no show, I called my Doctor office to reschedule, and had to negotiate my way out of a $50 cancelation fee. Now I will not be able to see my doctor until a month later. After waiting in sweltering Concord heat, in pain because of an ovaraian cyst rupture, I went back inside. A full 39 minutes after I called, I received a cell phone call from the cab company. He said the cab was here. Baffled, I told him that I already canceled my appointment because I thought they were not coming (a reasonable assumption after 39 minutes). He said "at least you could have called and canceled!" as if it was my fault he was 39 minutes late. When I explained that I was sorry but I didn't think there was a need to call a cab that wasn't coming to tell it to not come, he hung up on me mid sentence. And the rudeness and blaming, that's why I this company gets the bad review. Horrible company. read more

Honestly I think concord cab is one of the most customer friendly businesses out here. When I call in for a cab, the person on the phone greets me so politely. Whenever I need a ride somewhere I can always rely on them. The highlight of every experience with concord cab are the drivers. They actually ask you about how your day was and are never on the phone like the other cab company drivers. I called San Antonio Taxi and was told there was no one in the area to pick me up, so they gave me a different number to call. I called the number and was greeted by a gentleman. He showed up right away ( wait time, 5 minutes). He was very friendly, courteous and came to my help within minutes. Thank you. I called for a cab this evening told the lady on the phone where I was at and where I was going. She responded a driver will be there to pick you up. The driver came picked us up took is us down the road the fare was 4.50. Which I was going to give him 10.00 anyway just because the ride was short. My mom can't walk to far that's why I called the cab. He took my 20.00 and was sitting there thinking. He said you know there is a minimum ride of 15.00 dollars. I said since when? I told him that's not true I've taken the cab several times and its only been 10.00. He said well this time I will only charge you 10.00. I got my change and closed the door. As he was going on about the price of gas. I called their number to see if that was true and the dispatcher said yes. I called Yellow cab which I always take anyway just they weren't available. That driver told me it's illegal for them to tell you there is a minimum charge. I know there is if you use a credit card but not to ride. If that's the case why don't they have it posted about a minimum charge. Horrible experience! read more

One of their drivers just ran me off the road on my own residential street. I had my 3 year old grandson with me when this idiot passed me. I was forced to move over to the curb and was just lucky that there was no cars parked there. If I were a fare in the cab I would insisted that he pull over and let me out. I took Concord Cab to the Oakland Airport after visiting family in Clayton, CA. Made a reservation the night before for 8:30AM, and told them there were two of us and luggage. The cab arrived on time (a few minutes early actually). The cab was large enough for the two of us and our luggage (a minivan). Our driver was friendly and courteous, and took an interest in our getting to the airport in a reasonable amount of time! When we hit some slow traffic, he was assuring that it was rush hour and that once we got on the freeway, we would make good time and arrive with no problems. We got to the airport promptly.
