This is our first child and we wanted to tour schools before our baby arrives. We arrived at our scheduled appointment to the dimly lit reception area. There were 3 people at the front desk and no one looked up for a while. Finally, a nice young woman acknowledged us. I explained why we were there (she had no idea we were coming). She shared that the infant area is under construction. I said I'd still like to see it. We were taking past a dark room with 6-7 wooden cribs pushed up against each other in a small space. The caretaker looked up from her phone and went back to being back on her phone. After sharing with us again that the other part of the building it under construction (maybe she sensed we were concerned), she walked us past the toddler room. Tons of kids in a small space. It honestly reminded me of my dogs daycare. We were in and out in 5 minutes - no exaggeration. No structure to the tour and just overall a depressing space. When my fiance and I stepped out of the building the first thing he said to me in a joking way was "let's run." This was the first experience I've had of touring an infant daycare facility as a new mom. It shook me. I'm touring Primrose next week because I heard great things.

Our son was accepted to a Christian school where we will be living and and he'll be entering at the top half of his class which speaks volumes to MPS and his teacher, Mrs. Howard. His new school was very impressed with his assessment saying it was rare for a child to come in mid-year knowing what he knows. I'm so thankful for MPS and the love that's been poured into our son and his education. We weren't just seeking education for him when we found MPS. We wanted him to have the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and make a positive impact wherever he went - somewhere he could further his character and deepen his faith. Additionally, we wanted someone who would invest in nurturing his little soul with Christian values and MPS, Mrs. Howard, and the rest of the MPS staff have delivered 100%. So thank you, to each and every one of you, for everything you do to make MPS what it is.

During this time, we volunteered and gave to the school as much as we were able because we wanted to support the community our children were in. Beginning in September of 2025, we began to have concerns about behaviors / conversations occurring and it continued throughout the school year. We always tried to be gentle and respectful when bringing these concerns to the attention of administrators. Finally, with two weeks of school left, we made the decision to completely withdraw and cancel the re-enrollment of both of our children after our safety concerns were met with a refusal for answers, zero accountability, hostility and even pitting families against one another. I won't claim to have handled this perfectly because there was so much frustration once we started being treated poorly simply for having concerns and being denied answers from individuals who our children were under the care of for 30+ hours per week. I explained many times that I did not expect personal information of any student, I just wanted clarification on policies, what behaviors would or would not be allowed, and how similar situations would be handled in the future. As a Christian Private School - which MPS claims to be - with so many children under their care, they are absolutely held to a higher standard and should be able to have hard conversations, be accountable, professional and respectful to ALL families - especially when it comes to the safety of their children. The repeated phrase of admin was that how we feel is not their responsibility and if we don't like it we can withdraw - which is exactly what we did. Added for perspective - I want to draw your attention to the laugh reactions on our reviews. These are from a current teacher at MPS (admin's mother) and the BIBLE teacher at MPS (admin's husband) - neither of which were involved with any of our communications. Sadly, it just continues to prove our point. If at the time you are ready this they are no longer there, it may be because they realized as much.

We've had a genuinely positive experience in the classroom. However, our experience with the admissions and re-admissions process has been deeply concerning. While I understand that, as a private institution, the school has the right to make its own enrollment decisions, the process felt inconsistent and, at times, lacking in integrity. More importantly, I believe the way it is handled can have a significant emotional impact on children and families. Because of this, I am unable to rate the school highly overall. I have shared my concerns directly with the founder and hope the board will take the opportunity to review the feedback I sent carefully.

As a Christian school, they foster an atmosphere of care, respect, and faith. The teachers are highly qualified and dedicated, and the curriculum is both challenging and enriching. The school also has a fun and inviting atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable for our kids. This was our first year and everyone welcomed us from day one! It feels like we have been apart of the community forever. It's been a great fit for our family, and we're grateful for the positive, supportive community they've created.
