Dr.Cone was not attentive or thorough, did sloppy surgery and did not make any attempts to correct his mistakes. Choose another clinic.

Dr Odell was kind, friendly and very patience. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the time…read morethat he took to educate me about my little dogie that was diagnosed with heart murmur. He showed me the Extxay results to let me understand what he saw and found out and based on these pictures he didn't recommend to start a medication prescription for my Dixie heart condition. I was so relieved that I'll not have to load my small dogie with all the unnecessary medications based on his finding and I was so appreciative of his interpretation of the special situation of my dog. No other vet took the time, before I came to him, to educate me of the condition and gave me all the options of treatments if the condition will worsen. I wish I would come to him before I've signed with the previous veterinary office for a year " insurance" for my dog, so I'll not have to go through all the pressure that the other clinic put me through. Dr Odell is the best one that I came across to in Branson and I'll highly recommend him to any body who's looking for kind, knowledgable and caring vet that will take his time to " educate" you about his diagnosis to put your mind at ease. I really appreciate the kindness of his team in the office also that were very patience and extremely nice to help me found the place and made me feel very comfortable and cared for. I'll definitely go back to this office again and will share with all my friends this great experience that I had when I came for the second opinion after checking Dr Odell all the reviews before.I couldn't ask for a better, kind and knowledgable person than him to take care of my dog situation as he compassionately did. Thanks a lot for your great care and the big relief that you gave me after the visit:)

This guy is great but the others in the practice are absolutely not. If you could be assured that…read moreyou would see Dr. O'dell then it might be ok. Since they don't make the appointment for a certain doctor, just a certain time, you never know who you're going to get. Don't risk it, the other vets in the office are anywhere from lazy (not thorough) to incompetent (couldn't tell or didn't even look, that my cat was female, not male). Too bad Dr. O'dell doesn't have a lone practice.

Diagnosis was fast, and a complete failure. After nearly $400 for quickest $74-6 exam/ X - Ray / Enema / Pain shot / Nausea I had saw my mum a RN working her weekend off to give fluids to my kitten and watched the enema fail. Shepard also push for a feline AIDS test, which made no sense at all. Even the other vet didn't even mention it. I myself had a cat with feline aids when younger. These types of cats are usually outdoors, and my kittens have never touched the grass, or other cats. If this was feline aids, I would have symptomatic kittens which is not true. I thought that was very odd. Definitely a red flag. Feline aids is one of the saddest things to see, this cat did not have those symptoms. If I can tell the difference, I would hope my vet could. Went to Millwood Animal Hospital (as past client previous pet) and the exam was nearly $20 cheaper and he spent serious time with my pet. He saw it was not doing well and thought perhaps neurological. Did the full exam and confirmed. My cat could not feel in its legs / paws and all over which was my family of medical professionals over 50 years opinion that there was some type of injury at first visit in Branson at Shepard. I was told X Ray done here at Shepard didn't even show the full spine. New doctor willing to repeat, but with cost spiking with other surgeries needed for kittens the Millwood doctor continued an exam to rule out neuro. Which it was plain to see! No wonder my kitten has not jumped on bed for over a month!!!! Sadly, as the X-Ray area near the issue was missing!!! However the exam at Millwood confirmed I had a kitten near its one year birthday dying. I was told a lot more information about this type of issue I had no intel from this clinic whatsoever. I now have to either spend thousands, as it majorly suffers to keep him alive, possibly, or put him down as recommended it has no quality of life as we thought. Vet visit with take home medicine / thorough exam/ enema / major hydration was $180 elsewhere!!! Needless to say anything beyond fixing your pet here is HIGH RISK. Seriously sad experience. ANYONE WOULD HYDRATE THIS ANIMAL ITS SAD! Same eyes as my elder dying cat and no hydration is insanity in my book. The suffering was just beyond me. Sad. One thing I would like to include that was a major difference my family noticed was, I was almost trained to start paying, I kept saying OK like should I pay right now, the doctor at Millwood said I could sit in my car, knowing that I had a major injury due to a drunk driver, and at Millwood they came out and let me know when things were over and I could come back in, totally different. The doctor literally put his hands up at Millwood and said don't worry about the money right now. Let's work on getting the pet better. My family was shocked at how I kept trying to pull out my debit card to pay, and didn't understand that. That was all the shocking night and day difference. No wonder the horses from the stampede go to Millwood, it's 5 Star and this is... you be the judge.
