Best tasting ice cream in the county. I've been going to this place since the very first week they opened. There's no aftertaste to their ice cream like a lot of the other ice cream places in the county. Service is good, but sometimes the portions can be a little inconsistent, but that also usually depends on who's serving. It doesn't happen often though. The place is a little small inside, but they have chairs and tables to enjoy your treat outside. It may not be all perfect, but I will take their ice cream over anyone else's. read more

My husband and I just went to this place on date night. I have to say the ONLY reason it isn't 5 stars is because it lacks ambiance. The service was FANTASTIC! and we were served by very young girls, so it's not that they were good because of tons of experience. I have been to this ice cream stand because I like the location. But the 4 times I've been, the ice cream is sparse, I got a mud pie sundae and all there was was mud pie. No ice cream. The shakes are like smoothies. They really cut back on any real ice cream content. And the owners sneer at you while you are there. For sure I will never return. They have Perry's ice cream which is great stuff. The prices are high, the portions are small (the scoop is the size of a ping pong ball) and the service can be on the rude side which is funny because the large tip jar is on full display,,,,,like you have to move your head to either side of it to see the server and work around it to pay. Plenty of options in the area so no need to frequent Cone Zone all that often. read more

The owner was very disrespectful to me and when I ordered ice cream I barely got anything for the price I paid. I would rather take my money to carvel and get my moneys worth. If I could give 0 stars I would. If someone is buying your product you would at least expect them to treat you with kindness. read more

Love to support a small, family owned business. My favorite flavor is bittersweet symphony, coffee ice cream with chocolate, also butter pecan. Parking can be a hassle, very small lot, but spot usually opens up. read more

They've been around for years and years...serving creamy and delicious Perry's ice cream....we like going here after having pizza at pizza rev in nanuet or chicken and rice down the road....delicious selections and very cute decor inside...also there is outdoor seating if you prefer...but they are closed for the winter...so get some ice cream soon!!! We love the ice cream... my favorite is Bittersweet Symphony (coffee flavor with dark chocolate chips) with the sugar cone. However, I'm only giving this place a 2 star because for the numerous times we've been here, the service was always... needing a LOT of improvement... One time, we didn't even get a smile. C'mon! This is an ice cream place! Workers should act at least nice and friendly! Several times we were told that we can only have one VIP card stamped because it was one stamp per visit - we had 4 cards among 5 of us (1 card for the adults and 3 cards 1 for each kid in case they went there with friends. I get the one stamp per visit rule but it just didn't make sense that the five of us went separately on line and paid separately. Oh well, I guess that's what we'll have to do going forward :) 2 stars for aggravation and inconvenience to the customers... So far we have't encountered a smart employee that actually questioned this ridiculous rule and gave in to the customer. read more

This was our first time here and I just paid $5.25 for a small, thin milkshake. I could've gone down the road to McDonald's and paid half that for a large, thick shake. At least at McDonald's I get a smile with my shake, not at this place. read more

I went to the Cone Zone last night with my family. Last year we said we would not go there again, because the owner and staff are very rude and unfriendly. We thought we would give it another try this year. Again, the owner was very rude!!! My son has a peanut allergy, and we asked if the ice cream was safe for him. She seemed like she didn't want to be bothered by the question. The girl who helped us was also rude. The portions were so small and very expensive!! I will never go back. read more

Their ice cream is great and they have a sweet location, but the service can be rude and portions are cheap but not so much the price. They use this tiny little ice cream scoop and be prepared to get the exact number of scoops you ask for. Normally places go by the size of the cup or cone, not the actual number of small scoops. If I'm going out for ice cream, I want to enjoy it and go all out, not eat sample sizes for full price. I used to really like coming here, but the last few times I left feeling like I got ripped off and treated rudely. I would have contacted directly, but they don't have a website or email. read more

Ice cream flavors aren't that great. Better off going to the supermarket and picking up any ice cream. Their glacé isn't good either. Gourmet Garden is the place to go for glacé. Owner should also learn how to smile and be pleasant. read more
