The first waitress rolled her eyes when we struggled to understand her questions in Spanish, although we were apologetic. The cafe con leche was only ok and the tostado was only slightly toasted. The staff is super nice and will put up with your broken Spanish. I recommend the churros chicos with a cup of chocolate - perfect for studying or just enjoying the day. The only caveat is that in the summer it gets really hot here, and they don't have air conditioning, so expect to sweat a bit if you come on a hot day.
