No pretenses, no cliques, just nice people who enjoy each other's company. It has an active preschool and many groups and activities besides regular Shabbat and holiday services. Equally wonderful are the clergy. Rabbi Peter Rigler is warm and caring. His sermons are always engaging and timely. His sense of humor is exceptional. Cantor Jamie Marx is another treasure. He plays guitar and leads our active choir which is quite good. The whole congregation loves to sing. We've been members for 30 years as I write this. We were blessed to find Temple Sholom and we're blessed it's as great a community today as it was the day we first came for a visit. As their slogan says, "Temple Sholom, it's Where You Belong!"

How many people walked by this shul and said, "That's where I'm getting married." That's how nice it is. Today, it is operated by Chabad. They have revitalized and injected new blood into this historic shul. The services are amazing, warm and friendly, as well as all of the classes and guest speakers they invite.
