I have been here several times with my parents who are in their 90's for various health issues…read more I have never had any problems with the care they received from their doctors, nurses, aides, PT, or dietary. Of course they are not thrilled with the food because they are always given food without any salt on it per doctor's orders. The hospital is always clean too. As an RN with years of experience working in hospitals, I'm very impressed and grateful for the excellent care my parents have received here.

I Kept asking for ativan and the nurses joked to each other about me asking for it saying "They needed ativan". Anyways, as I was saying, the chime on the wall was accompined by a call asking for an ambulance in code. It took her asking like 20 times when I was on the verge of passing out for them to transfer me to a place that was like 5 minutes away, Mount Sinai. The EMT girl on the way hit my arm and left a bruise, when I told her I was nauseous she ripped open an alcohol swab and stuck it in my face, acting like I was a know-it-all saying, "Oh I thought you knew this" she then said she was gonna "sit This was an absolute nightmare, my mrn number was 1835555, and when I was admitted I was in crisis. A police officer from the floor underneath the room they locked me in due to covid said he wanted to "Shoot me in the head 5 times" and all the staff heard. The staff then assured me he "got a call" Quality of care was very neglectful, save for one male nurse. The type of care: They Straight up told me they were doing a "rapid taper detox" Off my benzos I had been taking for 5 years. When I told them I know tapering too fast off benzos can cause brain damage and that I knew depression was mostly situational they didn't care. This was April 5th of 2024, There were a few good nurses but they were mainly a male nurse and Julia, everyone from the front desk workers to nurses act like nothing is their job. There needs to be 1000% more accountability in these work settings, other countries aren't like this. Shout-out Matt and Julia. 1 star, I basically did everything myself at one of my weakest times of my life.

Went to ccmc after renovations last week for my sons appt for sedation to get some lab work done…read more I love the new entrance and parking garage for ccmc. Everything is new, clean, and wow compared to it previously. We finally got to the floor we needed to be on and the front desk lady remembered my son from when he use to go to nutrition on 100 retreat. I can't believe we've crossed paths again after 3-4 years. She saw my son when he was a baby-1 years old and now he's 5 years old!! The nurses and the doctors for sedation were a 10/10 and explained everything to us and took their time. They also have life support who came. To help navigate the process and helped suggested some ideas of what might calm him down. They were able to get the job done professionally in a. Timely matter. I appreciate them and this process when sometimes a lab draw isn't as easy for me as it is do others.

I asked for medicine or a sound machine to help me sleep and a staff said she would ask a nurse and I NEVER got any of the things i requested. The 'nurses' will force you to do blood work in the middle of the night after finally being able to sleep. Even if you just get called in for depression theyll treat you like an animal. The staffs are ABSOULTE bitches. They treat you like theyre only there for money. The second time there, i overdosed and i was pretty much dying by the time i got there and they refused to pump my stomach even if my dad asked and they forced me to drink charcol and they didmt even care. I wasnt able to sleep because of the overdose making me halluclinate and on the first night, a male staff completely ignored me no matter how much i complained about how i was seeing shit. I also went to this hospital because i was bleeding out my butthole (ikik its hemroids, the urgent care didnt do shit and told me to go there) and they made me wait SEVEN HOURS WITH AN IV IN just to tell me to take laxitives no matter if i still was bleeding (and i do have a family history of crones) and the staff barely visited my room no matter how much i hurt. Fuck yall.

Tl;dr I couldn't have had a better experience with Dr. Marchetti…read more I was having an anorectal medical issue that wasn't responding to my home treatment, so I showed up here on Sunday about 10 minutes before they opened. There was a really long (socially distanced) line; I wasn't sure how soon I'd be seen. Most folks ahead of me must have been waiting for a COVID test ticket*. When I filled out my intake paperwork about half an hour later (a little after opening), I was told to expect about a half hour wait to be seen for my issue. I asked about how to walk to Dunkin (I don't have a car and had taken a Lyft). The two folks at the front desk helpfully pointed in the same direction. About half an hour later, I was back and was pointed to the waiting room. I waited some more time (probably less than half an hour), and my name was called. The nurse who got my medical history was really wonderful, friendly, sympathetic, genuine. Due to the location of my issue, I disclosed* that I am trans (FtM). She asked if I was comfortable being seen by either of the two male doctors, and I asked (light-heartedly but also genuinely) for "the nicer one". She says they're both really nice, and also asked if I wanted anyone else in the room. (*intake paperwork had only male/female options and no field for pronouns) At first I said no, but then I backtracked and asked if she was an option, which she was. As a trans person, getting health care in such an intimate area can be really nerve-wracking even if I didn't specifically feel unsafe. She returned moments later with a very warm doctor who I felt comfortable with in less than 5 seconds. He explained what he would be looking for and offered to examine me in whatever position was most comfortable (suggested lying on my side on the bed, which I did). I barely felt awkward at all, plus it was pretty quick since my issue was apparent (4th-degree hemorrhoids). The doctor recommended a specific colon/rectal surgeon: "she would be doing my surgery if I needed it." He advised me to take a fiber supplement and a laxative in the meantime (to avoid things getting worse by straining), and to drink plenty of water while doing so. He returned with a typed letter with those discharge instructions and also gave me a brief letter with his referral. CVS is right next door, so I went and got what I needed, and headed home. This was a really great experience. Definitely will come again if I need to in the future.

DOES NOT HONOR APPOINTMENTS! I made an appointment to come here for 4:40. There were no other…read moreappointments on the calendar, but when I arrived, there were quite a number of walk-ins. From my understanding, like every other facility they're supposed to take the appointments first, but they did not do that. I did speak with the office manager, Amanda, who told me that if 10 walk ins come in at 4:39 PM before my 4:40 appointment,- they will see those walk ins before my scheduled appointment - um what?? How does that make any sense?! Effectively, even though I have an appointment I get treated like walkin number 11?! The whole point of the appointment is to have a scheduled time? They need to clearly post this policy online so people such as myself are not taking PTO to show up for an appointment, and be treated like a walk in, which they claim it's their policy to do?! As a result, I was sitting in the waiting room for 25 minutes before I was called while they took all the walk-in appointments. I can completely understand if they're running late, but it is extremely disrespectful to my work schedule for me to take time off of work to show up there on time and then have them prioritize walk-in appointments over my scheduled appointment. I ended up having to get a refund and leave without being seen, which is absolutely ridiculous.
