We went in the fall and it was a perfect New England day; spooky season in full effect, sweater weather, and autumn decor. There was live music, picnic tables, and animals you can pet; there were goats and sheep. A feed dispenser was nearby, just insert some coins. The bar/restaurant line was not too long and it moved quickly. We had kettle popcorn, hot dogs, beers and cider. These were good and there were so many options; pizza, beer, ice cream, salad, nachos, etc. They are also a pick your own farm; from strawberries, flowers, pumpkins, apples, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, it all depends on the season. They even have a sugar house which produces maple syrup and other treats. We had an enjoyable time when we went and look forward to going back.

This is a farm stand style CSA meaning you sign up for a full share or half share then each week, in the pick up day you signed up for, you go to the farm stand and shop for what you want, using as many or as few units as you choose from the currently available veggies. There are also their own dairy and meat available for sale, as well as items from other local farms. Included in the CSA (community supported agriculture) offerings are magnificent bouquets! All the flowers are grown right there n the farm. You can see new calves in their stalls, the herd out in the fields, and garlic or drying flowers hanging from the rafters of the barn. The views are amazing! Max and Melissa are amazing! Everyone working there is super friendly and helpful! The strawberries available early in the CSA season are to die for! We will never use a different CSA!!

The event was highly advertised and we paid $10pp ($20 total) to drive almost 40 minutes to this event. Go up to scan our tickets and only after the lady happily scans our tickets does she inform us there are no strawberries. Sold out, none to pick, none to buy. Advertised "multiple vendors" and there were 2 vendors under tents. It was a complete ghost town. A band was playing to absolutely no one. The cows we saw were completely COVERED in flies where I couldn't even see some of their faces with the layers of flies, on top of flies covering them...they looked absolutely miserable. What a cash grab. This event should have been canceled and refunded. Being unprepared is one thing...falsely advertising it at a grand event when there was nothing and no one is a different thing all together.

The result is the pie has chunks of dark and light chicken with literally no sauce. It was extremely expensive, and don't get me wrong I don't mind paying when something is really delicious.
