My husband was injured very seriously about 12 years ago broke his back shoulder and hip was out of work for almost a year. They told him work until you can't work and you will get a settlement. Well he's still working in a lot of pain has to go to the chiropractor 3x weekly and it's a hassle to get the chiropractor paid. ((Which I believe to this day he still hasn't been paid) They advertise that they can help other people but they don't even help the clients they -already have!! Once they have your case you don't hear from them unless they know they are getting $$ right away if not it takes them 4-5 times before they call you back ..they don't answer phone calls probably because if they aren't making money off the case right away they don't care about you!!! read more

Every time their commercial comes on the TV my Chihuahua stops in his tracks, watches it and at the end where there is singing, my Chihuahua howls. It is him singing with the commercial. He loves it! Within 3-4 I received a telephone call from Rufus Williams, an attorney with the firm. He listened attentively to my explanation, asked a few questions and stated that he believed their firm could assist me. He set up an appointment that was convenient for me. At the appointment he was very cordial abd explained everything in detail. He made sure I understood the process and I felt very comfortable with his service. Posting a great review on the basis of a first appointment could lead people with serious injuries who need serious attorneys to select this law firm. Please don't do this. Jimmie H., you should know that this law firm has been involved with corruption and malfeasance in relation to their failure to represent their client, and in fact, unlawfully conferring with attorneys on the other side, in order to obtain a settlement on their own commissions, to the detriment of the injured worker. I don't know what kind of injury you had, but I would be interested to know if it was a serious injury, and how you feel about this law firm 2 years later. That's what people need to know. Injured workers: ALWAYS do your homework. The selection of a WC attorney is THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION YOU WILL MAKE. If you have a serious injury, in this corrupt workers compensation state, you could literally find yourself on the street, with no income and next to nothing recovery. Even if you get full recovery, you will still be financially strapped, as New York has colluded with insurance companies to limit maximum recoveries to $500.00 per week (slightly more if your injury occurred in recent years), and limited duration such that a lifetime injury will get you ten years of highly reduced benefits (nowhere near what your original salary was). In short, if you've been injured, you are in a really dangerous place, and you need to seriously research the entire workers compensation code in order to understand your rights, or you will get hammered. read more

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!!! Every time their commercial comes on it infuriates me! My husband was very seriously injured about 15 years ago. He fell on the job at least 50 feet broke his back, shattered his collar bone and was out of work for at least a year and a half and had to learn to walk again and his left arm will never be the same. They told him work until you can so you could get the best settlement. He's still working today but because he's been in so much pain in the last year he started going back to a chiropractor a couple months ago which after a month of visits to the chiropractor, which helped his pain lessen he was told they couldn't help him anymore because of workers comp he called Connor & Ferris which are his lawyers and they told him send a letter? They have not responded or been any help at all. and even though he can still work now and trying to get help with the pain so he can work for another 10 years and they are NOT helping him just to get chiropractor bills paid we were told write a letter there is a process. Really!? They have commercials on TV and I really don't understand why because they never answer our calls they always want you to write letters and never get back to you! Don't trust their commercials they cant take care of the client they have!! I want my husband to find other legal counsel and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone hat has a serious injury and never believe ANYTHING they say!! read more

I have been with this law firm for 7 years. They have gotten me nothing. My Average Weekly Wage award was overturned in appeal (meaning I got less every week that I got benefits). My Permanency was ruled as a Scheduled loss of Use instead of a Disability (meaning I got nothing) and my lawyer was completely unconvincing in the appeal (which he lost). Now I am being denied treatment and the lawyer is not doing much. I constantly have to call the lawyer and let him know what is going on; he would be completely oblivious if I didn't call all the time. And company policy is that the lawyers are not allowed to return phone calls during business hours. So they call you late at night or maybe early in the morning. Also do not allow you to email them. Deeply regret ever using this firm. Probably can't go another firm this late in the game. They don't care about their clients at all. read more
