There's a reason this school has mostly all new students each year. Most of us chose to leave this…read moreyear because of constant drama among staff, a mid-year teacher shortage that left the younger students stranded (& their parents out tuition money), and a director who lets literally anyone join the school. The school used to serve kids w/ learning differences, but as of the end of the school year, there were students with severe autism mixed with students without learning differences but rather severe behavioral issues that got them kicked out of previous schools. The mix did not work, but because of financial issues at the school, all enrollment rules went out the door. A couple parents who had paid for the school year in advance lost their tuition - the school didn't have the funds to reimburse. Some parents had to get attorneys. Students who were left without a teacher mid-year were only given their school records if parents signed NDAs. My child, and most others, actually regressed last year because classes are so loose. Grades are given arbitrarily; no student makes below a B on their report card. The strongest teacher, owner of the therapy dog, left the school (for retirement) - a huge loss, as she was the only teacher certified to teach Dyslexic kids. None of the other teachers were certified in Dyslexia remediation, and none of them have teaching certificates. Save yourself money and heartache and do not enroll your child in this school.

I've had natural hair since 2013 and it was mostly trial and error in regard to finding what worked for my hair. I went to Emma in 2018 for a Sweet Cut and my hair has flourished since then! Emma takes the time to educate you about your hair while she's doing it. She will always remind you that your curls are unique to you and to embrace them! She recently moved into her salon, and it is so beautiful and relaxing. All the details are amazing! She also has a boutique where she sells hair products is you need to restock your home supply! I tried to book several appointments that were canceled. I finally thought I got it right and booked an appointment in January. However, that appointment was canceled too. I attempted to book again but with a consultation and the appointment was not canceled (I was like FINALLY). The websites states that a consultation is recommended for new clients but it doesn't say required. It would clarify things if it just said required. Nevertheless, when I reviewed my credit card statement, I was charged the deposit for both appointments and was never refunded for the first appointment I tried to book in January that they canceled (the appointment that didn't have the consultation). I, therefore, disputed the charges for the first appointment with my card (not the charges for the appointment that was confirmed). However, the stylist, in turn, canceled my appointment instead of recognizing that I was not refunded for the deposit for the appointment they initially canceled. I give up!!!
