We popped into Cafe Negro on a whim when I needed a midday pick me up. I grabbed an Horchata cold…read morebrew and chocolate croissant.
The coffee was good, but the croissant was stale and was not warmed all the way through. The staff members were cordial, but I wouldn't say that they made an effort to be friendly. I do know that service in other countries are different compared to the US, so I am definitely comparing my experience to other service I received in CDMX.
Other than that, the coffee shop was beautiful, plenty of seating and seemed like a good place to study and get work done.
