An absolute zero start rating. Worst experience and customer service. Back end and front end end have no communication. Waist of time. Been there four times for the same matter, all four times were different requirements depending on the agent and the mood they are in. Missed three days of work and spend eight hours with three kids. Clerks treat you like an idiot during a lengthy process after being told different requirements and process. You are better off making the travel expense and trying your luck in a different state. read more

Tuve una experiencia decepcionante en el Consulado de México. A pesar de tener una cita programada, el tiempo de espera fue excesivo y el proceso se sintió desorganizado. Además, algunos miembros del personal se mostraron poco amables y con una actitud condescendiente al responder preguntas. Esta experiencia lamentablemente me dejó un mal sabor de boca respecto a la manera en que se manejan los trámites mexicanos. Entiendo que puede haber mucha demanda, pero el profesionalismo, la organización y el trato respetuoso deberían ser siempre una prioridad. Debo decir que cuando fuimos al consulado mexicano de Denver, Colorado, nos trataron muy bien, muy amable el joven que estaba en el escritorio de la entrada. Mi hija está solicitando la doble nacionalidad, primero fuimos al consulado mexicano, como ya lo mencioné. Nos dijeron que todo el proceso se debe hacer por computadora, el problema es que el sistema no nos dejaba abrir una cuenta como se indica. El formato no aceptaba el correo electrónico, hicimos una contraseña y la cambiamos varias veces porque dice y dice que es INCORRECTA, usamos diferente computadora por si ese era el problema, pero NO. Tratamos de llamar al consulado mexicano y solo una maquina nos da la misma información. Es como dar vueltas en un círculo, no se llega a ningún lado y ni se puede salir de ahí. Entrar a la liga de hacer citas es una odisea ya que no hay procedimiento o continuidad. Por fin se registró, pero ahora dice esto: You've not verified your phone number. To continue Llave MX, you'll need to verify your phone number. If you don't get message, you can ask for another message to be sent. Intentamos varias veces el procedimiento como se indica para la verificación del número y nunca obtuvimos ningún mensaje. Y así seguimos aquí sin poder continuar el proceso, estancadas, sin poder contactar a alguien porque por ninguna vía de comunicación no hay respuesta. A rude, misogynistic neighbor of mine - with consular license plates - has been harassing me & violating the Denver Noise Ordinance, per multiple police reports. In parallel, his German Shepherd has also attacked my sister's dog, shortly after our dad died of COVID last October. I confronted this man - while he was playing the loud music, right outside my dad's (now my) house, in his consular vehicle - and he had the audacity to interrupt me, attempt to gaslight me, then use the "tu" vs. "Usted" tense with me, when we don't know each other, and are approximately the same age. I told him I also speak Spanish, lived in Spain, and that - I know, for a fact - he's been doing this the past year, that I've been caring for my dad (since last August), after flying here from Pentagon City, Arlington, VA (Washington, D.C.), where I am very familiar with diplomatic license plates, and have attended multiple embassy parties. In parallel, I worked for the U.S. Department of State - overseas, at U.S. Embassy Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands - so I know the rules. Every single action an embassy/consular employee does while working on behalf of their government on foreign soil reflects - positively or negatively - back on their country. Knowing this, I knew that no country would tolerate/allow this kind of misbehavior, and - considering Denver Police encouraged me to seek a Protective (Restraining) Court Order, that could include rules regarding the noise, specifically - going to court and asking a judge for this would require more data & more time. Why not simply nip it in the bud, at the source? I Googled all consulates in Denver, then identified Spanish-speaking countries, given this man is a native Spanish speaker. I identified Mexico, Peru, and Guatemala. (The Mexican Consulate today informed me that El Salvador also has a Consulate here in Denver.) I called Mexico first, on Friday, and they invited me to come to meet them in-person, and bring the evidence, which I did. [redacted, to protect their identity] was kind enough to meet with me today, review the evidence, and identified the country that seemed to be associated with the make/model/license plate of the car belonging to the problem neighbor. He/She/They [redacted, to protect their identity] then asked me to verify, by calling the U.S. Department of State's OFM Houston - Regional Office, and provided me with the contact information, which I'll use tomorrow. I was relieved and appreciative that He/She/They [redacted, to protect their identity] understood the severity of the situation, and agreed with me, that no country would want their diplomatic representatives behaving in this manner. El peor consulado al que e ido. Casi 5 horas en espera nomas para renovar un pasaporte. Nada tienen organizado, en una sola fila estaban todos en espera para diferentes trámites. Tenía cita a cierta hora, y no llegue al frente de la fila asta hora y media después. Los empleados bien huevones nomas en el teléfono y llamando a gente que pasará al frente cuando les daba la gana. Mis respetos para la de seguridad en la entrada, parece que ella hace el trabajo por todos los huevones de ahí en contestar preguntas y etc. read more
