CEC is a CULT.. I signed up for class January 26, 2017. The very first day I was asked to leave by the facility Ray Blanchard and get my money back. I decided I would leave. I get to the hall way where the CULT clan was and Hallei Khali said I could not have my money refunded to me. She said this was the rules. Ray Blanchard, if he finds you to pick on you, he will break you down to a point... He has a PH.D and needs to turn it in. Hallei Khali thinks she is tough, but she is NOTHING. I will NEVER advise ANYONE to take such a class. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and my Lord and Savior and that is all I need. I don't need a CULT to tell me how to live in life. Please DO NOT take this course it is a MONEY oriented gammit... teaches you NOTHING but how to deal with HOSTILE people like Ray Blanchard, Hallei Khali. They asked me to send an email, and I have yet to get a response from these people.. This place is no good..for anyone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it!!!!!!! I AM OUT OF $600.00. CEC is a place where you get to experience and discover where you want your vision to go or explore what is your vision for your life. It gives you the tools to deal with life's twist and turns and how we go about handling that on all aspects of our life. It builds awesome friendships and a great sense of family and builds relationship opens new possibilities towards anything you envision your life going. I was a bit skeptic about this training. But because a close friend so strongly recommended it, I thought to myself "if there is a chance that this could profoundly alter my outlook to life, why not give it a shot?" So I enrolled. And profoundly alter my life it did. It is designed to make you think outside the box and make you uncomfortable but at no point did I feel I was being harmed or hypnotized or made to feel like I didn't have a choice. There is no magic pill or formula that the training offers (nor do they claim that) to solve all your problems or get you to where you want in life. It does however dramatically alters the way you think. It puts a mirror in front of you so you can see what is and what is not working in your way of being. And how that might be stopping you from living a full life. The exercises were very powerful and effective. The biggest bonus for me has been close friendships and bonds I developed with people that I met in the trainings. These relationships are deep, genuine, unpretentious and lifelong. And this is only because we met in the context of the training and they are build on the foundation of trust, support and unconditional love. If you are on this page because someone you know has recommended this training, but you are hesitant, I recommend you take the leap and try it out for yourself. Very expensive and not helpful... I am not sure what kind of training the leaders have to go through but for the prices they charge they better be certified (I would ask before u put any money down). I feel they take advantage of weak and vulnerable people. They pressure you to join new classes which are $1500 and up depending on how far you go....you can take similar classes for cheap or very little .. Just give it a little search on the internet... I feel sorry for the people who get suckered into this... Tell you the truth if they actually cared for you they wouldn't charge you an arm and a leg then pressure you into giving your soul for the next session. They got one of my family members hook line sand sinker! She took the first class for about $500 or more, then pressured her to take the next class, at the end of that last session (when she was delirious bc they keep you for long hours in a controlled environment). Needless to say this class was approximately $1500 and she does not make much money. They didn't let her go until she put down a $500 deposit. Her leader even gave her a donation $20 or $50 bucks toward the next class... (If that's not pressure I don't know what is!! She finally talked to me about this so I set her straight... However it was too late and you guessed it... they would not refund the $500 deposit. If u ask me, and they really wanted her to be successful and cared about her they would've given her her money back! Stay far away... This group is a collection of people who are in vulnerable states and in need of support and friendship. Unfortunately the group provides immediate access to both, which made me feel a bit curious. The high prices are clearly for nothing they provide to you at a workshop - another clue that this was not a normal professional workshop. You bring all your own food, water and snacks and sit on a pillow on the floor for 10+ hours per day while you transform your life. I asked about the leader's professional qualifications and was assured it's "very west coast and based in transformational psychology". My friend invited me to attend so I did. Mistake. Any insights can be easily gained from a normal and healthy support group. I'm still not sure where they money made goes. Someone is profiting from preying on vulnerable people. read more
