And I don't care if it's a tourist trap I genuinely found this spot and area to be absolutely famous if you're a movie nerd. We took a private car up to this town (as there isn't much to do) but we knew we'd be stopping here at Bar Vitelli as some scenes from the Godfather were shot outside and in this area. I appreciate that the bar itself paid homage to the movie that made it famous with photos inside and they were pretty reasonable with customers coming in strictly for pictures. Some places make you purchase, and while it's the right thing to do, they don't make you. Of course I ordered a bottled coke and sat at one of their cute little tables for 10 minutes to soak it all in. Plenty of people around me had cute little coffees and sandwiches, so it's a great spot for a snack while you checkout the town. The staff were very nice and again, for being a tourist driven destination, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. If you find yourself coming up the mountain to tour the area, definitely support this old gem for the movie history and to support their staff by stopping in this bar/cafe for a little pick me up.
