I discovered Steele & Co For Hair last summer when a new branch opened in Sale town centre. The salon is relaxed and doesn't have the typical bitchy atmosphere that can usually be found at hairdressers, but it remains professional in their work ethic and setting. It has a clean environment, with plenty of magazines and the customer is always offered free coffee and tea (I usually manage two cups because I'm in there for so long!) I get bored very easily with my hair and Simon and his team will do what I ask of them whilst doing what's beneficial for my hair. And the best thing...you get your moneys worth. Because I have blond hair (unless I feel like being a brunette for a while) I have highlights, two toners, wash and cut and it comes to around £90, depending on what colours are used. This sounds expensive at first glance but I once "modeled" for Saks only having half a head of highlights and what couldn't even be classed as a trim and they charged me £50! And when I left the salon I looked like I had roots because they had barely bothered to apply any colour at all. If you want your hair to look good, you are unfortunately going to have to pay out but in most salons having hair colouring treatment like this often means paying well over £100, and it's never really an enjoyable experience. At Steele's I can chill out, read a magazine, drink plenty of coffee and know that when my hair is finished I will be happy with the result. Your hair is highly important so I suggest only going to people that can be trusted. Go to Simon Steele. There are salons in Bury and Sale. I have also said you can book by appointment only, however, I think if you are only getting a cut or want a wash and blow you should be able to walk in without a problem.

this is an absolutely beautiful private beauty salon in a great location. it is right on nantwich…read moreroad in 1 of the larger detached properties towards the manor at wistaston. there is a separate private entrance to the salon which you can see when you park on the large parking area at the front of the building. it isn't advertised on the front of the property so you have to keep your eyes open as to which property it is! the salon uses really high quality products such as dermalogica and personally i find these really fantastic and you can purchase the products for yourself or as gifts from the salon if there is something you particularly like or if there is something the beauty therapist might recommend. there are 2 main areas in the salon as you walk through the salons entrance hall. the first is more of a reception area with magazines, product displays, a small seating area, lists of treatments available and so on. then there is the treatment area itself. there is an area for hand,nail and beauty treatments and the larger area for main treatments such as massages, hot stone therapies, waxing and so on. the owner is amazing. i have tried pretty much most of the treatments available at this salon and every one was perfect - even the more painful ones such as waxing! she is professional, friendly and the treatments are at fantastic prices too. she has worked at many of the best salons in the area such as essence and the spa at alvaston hall so you are pretty much guaranteed that same high standard in every treatment from something as small as an eyelash tint to one of the bigger treatments such as a full body massage. this salon is really highly recommended.

Kiran, Honey and Shazma made us feel welcome and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The treatment room was cosy and warm with subtle lighting and gentle music. The treatment beds were super comfy and heated. We had the relaxing package of foot soak, exfoliation and foot massage, hot stone neck, back and shoulder massage and Indian head massage.
