I asked for recommendations via the Nextdoor app (highly recommended) and I was told to contact Michael Ysa at Floors & More, which I did. Michael came out promptly and gathered the necessary flooring measurements and gave us a very reasonable estimate. We accepted the estimate. Michael also provided me a list of materials that I would need to purchase and even recommended where I should obtain certain materials. TRANSPORTATION ISSUES - I drive a Miata and my wife has an SUV so picking up the necessary materials would have been a bit challenging; not to worry, without even bringing up or transportations woes Michael had offered to use his trailer to pick up the materials required for this job, we took him up on that offer. FURNITURE REMOVAL - Not an issue, Michael and his crew relocated furniture as needed to facilitate these repairs, all we had to do was remove or secure the small breakables. DUST - Michael and his crew used sheets of plastic to cordon off our kitchen so that the dust from the tile repair work didn't spread throughout the house, in fact, we never even noticed ANY dust except near the garage where the wood planks and tiles were actually being cut. WORKMANSHIP - Outstanding! There was even a spot in our living room that had a slight bulge in the flooring, Michael didn't wait for us to discover the bulge, he noticed it and told us about it and his plan for repairing it. Had he not noticed this area we surely would have missed it, the sun/lighting had to be just right in order to see it. Rest assured, like a true professional, Michael Ysa stands by his workmanship! CLEAN UP - Yup, they did that, at the end of every day all the refuse was packed up and hauled away. They crew even vacuumed and swept as needed throughout the repair job. PETS - We opted to check into a hotel for a few days so that our cats wouldn't be in the way. We also asked Michael to complete the work in our master closet and bedroom so that we could keep the cats holed up in the bedroom while the rest of the repairs were completed.
